Popped in here by chance for an early lunch with my teenage son and I’m so pleased that we did. The menu is varied and what is on offer is unique and delicious. I had a salted chili chicken salad which was amazing. Tobacco onions, baby spinach, pasta, chicken and sriracha sauce are just some of the ingredients that I remember. I like spicy food rather than just hot food, and although this had a bit of a kick, it tasted fantastic. The coffee was great and the fruit smoothie were also lovely. We will make a point of coming back. If this coffee shop were in a city, there’d be a queue out the door!

Just had the minestrone soup with my usual toastie and have to say compliments to whoever made the soup it was just delicious, I love going in here as the staff are all so bubbly and friendly and food is always gorgeous (I even gave yous a wee shout out on the radio) 😘

Bacon and Brie Chiabatta is a winner each time! Eggs Benedict was cooked to perfection. I love getting lunch from this gem. Service when dining in and cleanliness could be improved.

If you want something to eat and a nice cup of coffee, you could do worse than try here. I tried the small fry and it was delicious, more than enough.

I got an egg and onion sandwich which was lovely and with a generous filling! So good value and tasty👍

Stopped by McCarthys today, had never been here before and was greeted by a friendly and welcoming ToniMarie, she immediately made us feel very welcome with her warm and very pleasant manner and her excellent customer service

Absolutely loved going to this establishment for the beautiful food however, when I went in for a carryout sandwich the other day I noticed the young girl who was asked to serve me had just put a new bin bag on and hadn't washed her hands.Not very hygienic training needed reFood hygiene.The next thing which baffled me was the £5.50 charge.A week earlier I was charged £4.75?That experience has put me of going back.food hygiIn these

Excellent wee spot! We were in the area furniture shopping and wanted a quick breakfast before the store opened. Husband had a filled breakfast soda which was fabulous with a cup of tea. I envied the same but as I need to be dairy free I couldn't have the soda, instead they made me the breakfast in a toasted wrap which was first class! Great service, great menu choice & pricing, excellent breakfast suggestion for catering for dairy allergy. Thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely return here! Parked across the street in a parking bay, but also a public free carpark just around the corner. Give this place a try, a wee gem in Crossgar!
