Been coming here for years now , very few changes, wonderful authentic interior, so 1960s , fantastic ice cream selection and dog friendly too . Helpful staff shame they don’t do a lunch menu.

Fantastic ice cream café that has been in Broadstairs since the 1950s. It has the best selection of sundaes, each with their own individual glass and good strong coffee. The decor has recently been updated but retains a classic '50s charm.

Charming retro ice cream parlour.Gelatos are extremely good - creamy and flavorsome.Coffees were good too.I disagree that it was expensive (some reviews say its expensive for 1 scoop) - you pay for the quality, service and the decor here, and to me all of it was great value.I love this place when I come to Broadstairs.

I was pleasently surprised at how charming this place is and it's open 7 days a week. I didn't know how to order, and had a long list. Grace was really busy, and she was so kind and efficient with my order and helped me navigate the system! Our order was bought by May (I can't possibly spell her name!) who was helpful and smiling. All the staff (I had reason to phone after our visit) were good. I did expect the ice-creams to be tastier and they were not particularly good value but it did feel special to be here. (There is only one toilet.)

Really really liked this place. We had the Italian hot chocolate and it was sooo good. The hot chocolate was super thick with marshmallows. They finished it off with perfectly piped smooth cream. They made up a little extra and have it to us in a small hug so we could top up our glasses.The place is really clean? Staff super cheerful and honestly everything on the menu looked amazing. Very nearly ordered some things to take home!

Given this place's fame, I was expecting a bit more to be honest but then again perhaps I should have gone for something a bit more simpler than the gigantic special I got served. The view and the decor get their own mention; I love the retro feel of the place and it's wonderful to be able to eat ice cream while overlooking the bay.

Like going back in time (to the '50s). A feast for the eyes, as well as the most beautifully presented ice creams ever!

This is a place to go if you go to Broadstairs it does the best ice cream I have ever had. Oh my god their hot chocolate fudge sauce is amazing.

What a queue to get these ice creams! Advice? Just go sit inside, you won’t have to queue and will still get the ice creams:) so many choices, very nicely made and very tasty.
