First time being here, and upon arrival the look on the staff members faces made us feel like we we're an inconvenience. The cafe had no ventilation as none of the windows could be opened, as well as no blinds or curtains on the windows to block the sun. I had to eat my lunch with sunglasses on as I, suffer from sight issues which was really embarrassing. The food was outstanding though just a shame about the rest of the experience

Just been in this afternoon with my husband and what a lovely experience, from the minute we walked in we were welcomed, we weren't sure if you ordered at the counter or seat and they put us right straightaway. Showed us to our seat and presented menus with the added info on the special which I duly had.. Although when I saw a platter of sandwiches and crisps heading to another customer I nearly changed my mind. Great service great food and very friendly staff if your like us and on a Staycation check this place out. 😎

Called in here for a bite to eat on our way to the forest park. We had our dog with us so we sat outside. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Staff were so friendly and helpful...they even brought out a bowl of chicken for the dog for free!!! Highly recommend...we will definitely be back.

Ordered the home made sausage rolls for two, cup of tea and cup of coffee. The tea and coffee was fine and the sausage rolls looked lovely until we tried to cut them. They were like rubber, obviously thrown into the microwave to heat them up. avoid the home made sausage rolls is my advice.

Took the family for an afternoon snack. But ended up going for the full dinner menu.As other customers grub looked that good.Enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and had great food with very pleasant staff.Beat the rush in Newcastle and stop at Nels.
