Called in today for early lunch. Place was packed. Service so slow we had to get brioche bap to take away as we had another appointment. £16.50 for 2 coffees, a tray bake and takeaway brioche. Only when we got to open takeaway box it turned out to be cheap bap, dry and unappealing. Have been here many times but won't be back.

Very good pleasant staff and atmosphere. The lunch menu wasn't overloaded yet still had a good selection. The big plus is the gluten free choice and the willingness to adapt where they can.

Beautiful afternoon tea, followed by the most amazing light Victoria sponge, and served by such lovely friendly staff. I went here becos of the great reviews and wasn't disappointed. Will defo b back when in the area again

This place is a firm favourite as the food and service is amazing. We had their grazing box at the weekend with cheese and crackers etc and it was absolutely gorgeous, highly recommend and will order again.! Many Thanks

Oakley Fayre continues to be a staple of Downpatrick’s market street. Great range of baked goods including Wharton bread etc., and very good option for lunch if you are in Downpatrick. Service is excellent, and food is beet tasty. Also great for kids as they have several kids menu options, crayons to keep them happy, plus free lollipops!

The restaurant was very busy today, Wednesday but I decided to take a chance, never having been there before. I had the smoked haddock chowder with sourdough bread. Although I had to wait a while it was delicious. I would definitely go again, and have the same thing.Highly recommended, restaurant and chowder!
