Restaurant in Down

First time at Antigua street DTH. Nice tunes and staff are very friendly. They even took 25% off our order for a voucher that we had actually left behind which we were very grateful for. I am confident the queensferry branch wouldn’t have done the same. The service was fast. They even catered for my very fussy wife. My brother and I ordered the Marinated Bavette steak which we loved and was very tasty. The only negative I would say was that the ciabatta was a bit soggy and didn’t feel very toasted as advertised. I also ordered the Korean wings which again were very nice and tender. However, they were drenched in sauce, leaving a big puddle. I should have ate my wings first and then dipped in my sandwich into the remaining sauce. My bro and sister-in law shared some poutine which they liked but, again, there was excessive gravy. My wife and sister-in law enjoyed their burgers. The chips that came with my wife’s burger didn’t appear to be anything particularly special, just pretty standard. Overall we were all satisfied with our visit to DTH. However, I feel they need to cut back on the volume of their sauces. I’ve had chips before at the other branch and they were absolutely soaked in frank’s hot sauce. More isn’t always better.

First time in the new joint for down the hatch. It was awesome. Probably the best wings I've ever had( which is a bold statement I know) Korean bbq 😋 the steak fries were great too and an alcoholic milkshake to top things off 10/10 Also the staff were great

The best American and Canadian classics you'll get in Scotland.Very reasonable price range this was actually on discount, it may be a lunchtime deal the savings where a lot so i recommends ordering at these times.If you're at omni center or the theatre for a show please get over here before or after a movie or show.Most if the places to eat in this area are pretty standard, down the hatch is many levels above the restaurants that are near it....many levels.

We have been to the SQ DTH on a number of occasions, and hasn't ever disappointed. We did lunch at the Antigua St restaurant during summer, and sat outside. Food was good, but didn't get the whole experience. Last night we sat inside for a friend's birthday, and it was absolutely top notch! The burgers were as usual, excellent. Cocktails and margaritas, amazing. Beef dip as a first try was unreal. Wings, again, awesome. And then we ended up getting our food for free courtesy of Mastercard and OpenTable! A great end to a great night! And the staff were outstanding! Really great service from friendly people. 👏

Came here on our last evening in Edinburgh. We wanted to try this place when last time we were here but didn't manage to fit it in. NOW WE WISH WE HAD! Down The Hatch interior is bright and different! The Staff are friendly and fun! Kasey was brilliant and nothing was a problem! Definitely a 10/10 waiter! And the food... The food is delicious! Get me a flight to Canada RIGHT NOW!

Previously I ordered take away from DTH and burgers were nothing special, but we all know food not always travel well. So decided to visit restaurant expecting much better quality. Burgers were definitely better sit in, but don't think worth a price. I'll come back for Korean wings, but burgers itself were just so so.Our food was served by very friendly and helpful staff. Very cool decor inside.

AMAZING! After living in Canada for a number of years… finding this gem of a place was incredible. The best poutine both me and my wife have ever had and the buffalo wings were incredible. Really polite staff, clean restaurant and a great atmosphere. Looking forward to our next visit!

Great choices for food, quite limited on drink selection though. The staff are friendly and the wait for food was very short, the food was outstanding. The atmosphere was amazing, and although you are quite close to other tables you feel like your in you own bubble, definitely worth the visit probably the best place I've ever been to for food!

Great tasting burgers and chips and hits the mark as the high end burger joint. Decor is cool inside with Canadian memorabilia on the walls and a nice selection of beers on tap. The draw back is the noise in the back room and set up. Not much thought had gone into it. It could dowith some booths to and change in set up to create an atmosphere. To be honest it’s not the kinda place you go for how it looks, the food is worth the trip alone. Definitely try the place, you won’t regret it.

Great experience, the burgers were super tasty but the fried poutine was amazing. The staff was very helpful and our food was ready in a few minutes, as we mentioned we needed to catch a train. Highly recommended! :)
