Decent good quality food and excellent staff. Had the full fry and it was excellent, although poached eggs were a bit underdone, bacon was proper good bacon mind. The Skillet is a fantastic breakfast feast consisting of a little bit of everything, a must try if you fancy something a little bit different.

Lovely freshly prepared food served by helpful and cheerful staff. Great atmosphere. It was the onoy place that day that was busy and its easy to see why.

This place is ok but tend to find the staff leave tables uncleared for long periods. We were in for about an hour and there was a least one table that was left uncleared the whole time we were in even thought there were occasions when the staff weren't that busy, talking to each other a lot. Toilets also leave a lot to be desired. Disabled toilet seat does not fit and is literally hanging off and toilet handle is about to break off so both these things need looking at. Staff pleasant enough but little things can make all the difference in my opinion.

Very clean inside. Friendly staff but sometimes to the point where they are too busy talking to folk they know at a table and you are left waiting to be served for longer than necessary. This needs to be addressed I think. Food was lovely, nice warm dishes and good portion sizes. Nicely served for a small cafe. Pricing good.

Very nice and cosy cafe in the heart of lovely Newcastle, County Down. Staff is very friendly and attentive while the restaurant is very clean and efficient. Yes, it can get quite busy at times, but that is because how well received this cafe is within the community. It has been an utmost pleasure for me to have been a guest of this gem.

I had the small fry which was OK I prefer my soda and potato bread crispy and sausage not deep fried bacon a bit hard. Not the best fry I've ever had but service was great and the girls who work there are lovely and friendly
