Awful customer service and terrible take away experience. Firstly we had an argumentative and rude delivery driver who went to the wrong addressed and was huffing away when I was trying to explain and give him directions.Food arrived and not only was it cold, the portion sizes were pathetic. One of the chicken dishes which was classed as a main had 4 pieces of chicken in it.Will never order again.

Goodness gracious me !!!!!!!! Where can I start as it will take ages to finish about the issues in dealing with Thick Tuk. First thing the robotic sounding women wanted to know was what my name was and contact details were before selling the menu or telling me if they had what I want. I had to fight her just to get some simple questions answered , I then went on to place an order for the food I asked if they could leave out the dairy produce for one dish. When I got home the cheese was in they seem to have just removed a few pieces and maybe back in India that's acceptable. and you probably don't get charged £10- for a side and a bit of bread. Thank god this order was not for someone who suffers with allergies or has dietary. requirement for something over preference. Staff were all rude -customers walking around without face coverings. The dish tasted like it had a large component of tinned produce used in to the mix. I was told that they keep customer numbers and I wondered how they can do that cause my phone is on private settings. Three stars for the bred alone.

Overrated for nothing!!The restaurant is trying to ape the Dishoom style, which they fail at terribly.It has a bad taste and does not taste like any of the street food one gets in India.The restaurant's manager clearly does not care for our feedback and shamelessly listened to what I had to say, but it clearly did not seem as if he agreed.It seems the owner is not Indian and definitely does not know anything about Indian street food.I have to say that the restaurant is clean, but my feedback is on the misleading of customers to believe that they serve Indian street food.British or Indian customers all need proper information so they are not misled.

Love this place, good food and nice wine as its BYOB so you get your favourite and bring it in for a £3 corkage per person. The staff are super friendly and really accommodating! Good people that are on a budget as they offer small plates. There were four of us and we all had a lovely time.

Just ordered from Deliveroo and won't be back. Railway lamb curry had no taste at all, heat but no taste. The garlic nan lacked garlic flavour. The only decent bits were the rice and chicken 69, although they were dipped in a sweet chilli sauce. I'm glad I tried this place when it had a discount as I'd have been more upset if I'd paid full price.

Tuk tuk offers an Indian meal with a difference, not following the traditional British Indian restaurant formula but instead going for an Indian street food approach.The food itself is really tasty, however we did experience a number of issues:Firstly, the naan arrived cold and was swimming in oil.Secondly, the portions are much smaller than average for the price you pay (we thought this was especially noticeable with the masala chips).We also ordered the staff curry which is advertised as medium, however this was as spicy as the Bombay chilli chicken (advertised as hot!). It was still really tasty but the spice was definitely a lot more than expected!Despite this we very much enjoyed the meal and may return in future for lunch but not as an evening meal.Additionally the staff were very friendly and helpful, explaining the unique style of the restaurant.

Delicious food, lots of options. Is a little pricey but for me and my wife it was totally worth it. Staff were great but could pay a little more attention to what’s happening around them.

Came here as it was highly recommended as one of Edinburgh's best places for Indian street food. Safe to say we were not let down. Would recommend the tandoori chicken as well as any of the paneer dishes. Also found it to be very reasonably priced, especially for the location. Cannot wait to return.

Enjoy getting a selection of small plates to share. So many mouthwatering dishes on the menu that it's easy to order more than you can eat. The staff curry is spicy and delicious. There is so much flavour through the chicken-on-bone biriani. BYOB
