Clenaghans in Lisburn

We were there in early February having heard good reviews. Building has charm, cracking roaring fire but... the Guinness was off, the only other draught beer was Heverlee. The starter portions were microscopic, and therefore way over-priced. Disappointing!

Have been here 20 plus Times. Before covid.First time back today. Service and staff was very good. Had the roast beef Sunday Dinner.Very poor and no taste at all.At £32 its above averageCost. The starter Korean chicken wings very poor.The sweet and service was good.The other people in my group. All felt the same.HammyWill

Food excellent, a little overpriced, nice atmosphere. Staff very friendly and attentive. Will be back.

Hidden gem! We were blown away with the service, attentiveness, food and drink. Opted for vegetarian option, was over whelmed with my meal and have never had a meal like it, my omnivore partner was lost for words as he went the veggie option also. Will absolutely be back and can definitely recommend here.

Meal was lovely, although we where at a table at the end of restaurant, and had to continually listen to the chef calling orders and shouting commands to the kitchen staff ....very off putting as a customer....as a chef myself I have never experienced this situation before .After we finished our deserts ,we ordered another drink to finish the evening, received it ,only to be told we had 7 minutes left at our table ......one point,on booking the table I was not told at any stage ,there was a time limit !! And second, u don't take a drink order off a table, set it down and then tell your customers that you have 7 minutes left....to finish your drink and pay your bill like what the hell .....took the whole taste off my birthday meal

What an absolute find. Food and service was excellent and staff so attentive without being in your face. Scallops and Duck were as good as I have had anywhere. Will be going back, made my mind up before we left after our meal.

Superb Sunday evening meal. Fantastic flavours. Three courses but called it quits after only 2. Sticky Toffee did look good but belly said enough.

Food was very good but I was less than impressed with the courtisey of the restaurant manager. When making my booking he told me we had the table for 3 hours but on the evening he changed it to 2 and a half hours and he had no problem asking us to stand outside (81Yr old pensioner included) in the cold waiting on our taxi which we had booked based on the table time he gave us!!Less than impressed and ruined the evening for everyone!

Food amazing and staff fantastic so friendly. Can not fault it at all cannot wait to go back
