Himalaya in Lisburn

I wish I could give no stars I have had three dinners from this place the first was amazing the second was packed full of chilli so much so that more was wasted than eaten. I thought this might have been a one off so I order again as I stated the first korma was amazing but again tonight 2 dinners cost over 30pounds and most of it was wasted as it was far to spicy to eat. I phoned the restaurant and told them the answer I got was I'm sorry in a tone that said I really don't care. I would never order from these again avoid at all costs

WOW … sublime food. Depth of flavour, freshness of flavour, tenderness of meat, cooked to perfection … Didn’t want the meal to end.

Food delivered tonight was wonderful. Tasty and piping hot. The Lamb Madras was excellent as were the bhajis and the naan. I don't order takeaway that often but this place is on my list!

Ordered and collected tonight, order was ready when we were told to arrive, and it was piping hot. We've eaten here many times before over the years, and the food is consistently excellent. Fresh, high quality ingredients. Any time we've sat in at the restaurant the service has been on point. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a high quality meal.

This wee place went downhill to be honest and we had quite a few bad meals from it after getting good meals in the past, but decided to give it one last try tonight & it was absolutely delicious!!! Everything hot & fresh & plenty of meat in the curries & sauce was nice and thick etc...thanks guys!

This is a small, unpretentious place, but the food is what makes it. It is really flavoursome and good value. I've never been disappointed. You can take your own wine and corkage is minimal. The staff are pleasant and friendly.

Serious issues with this place! Used to be a regular for a takeaway but got a really dodgy one which made be very sick and complained about it the next time I was in only to be given free popadoms with my next order! Owner was in the kitchen when I complained but didn't bother to come out. But given that it was normally okay I give them the benefit of the doubt and accepted the owner maybe wasn't interested in customer service. Anyhow just got another takeaway at around 6pm tonight and it's clearly just been leftovers from last night! Not fresh, just mussy and thick! Obviously the owner is only interested in selling food for as much profit as possible with no regard to quality. I'll not be back, over priced and extremely poor quality.

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. If I could give 0 stars I would. Placed our order on Just Eat at 8pm, delivery time of 9.10pm. Called at 9.40pm to check on the status to be told that there was a delay but it was definitely out for delivery. At 11pm we cancelled the order through Just Eat as the restaurant had not been answering their calls for nearly an hour. Lying to a customer that their order is out for delivery when it clearly wasn't is a disgrace.

Ordered out of here tonight for the first time and safe to say I will never be returning!!! My partner brought back the food, the portion sizes we're tiny like a kids portion.He rang and said he wasn't happy and asked for a refund. That was ok, he brought the food back. And the owner came out very aggressive, calling him everything. Also told him he hopes he dies with starvation, and told him that he was going to clear out his bank account as he paid by card! Also through the food up aganist the wall. Absolutely disgraceful.
