john dory's in Lisburn

Fish batter was stoggie. Simple instructions for the order not followed. This is the second time in a row that we've been disappointed with this place

Placed an order at 6.45 nothing arrived by 8pm so rang the shop only to be told it hadn't left the shop yet leaving a young family starving certainly won't be ordering again..

Long time from I have eaten from John Dory’s and I will not be back. Over priced, small portions and greasy food. Some of the food just went in the bin.

Completely received the wrong order, called the store to see what their procedure was and was told that I accepted the order so I was stuck with it, or reorder and pay again. Complete joke, won’t be back

Ignorant, untrained staff and overpriced, substandard food.

Customer service is shocking. Got accused of being a liar down the phone after they forgot to put a small bag of chips in my order. Food isn't great either and if you are on a very strict diet and have loads of money to waste, then this is the place for you! Very small portions and very high prices!

Do a lovely chicken kebab with house sauce but unfortunately can be very greasy food, especially when having anything else from the menu, which isn't great! Have been put off it.

If you buy from Dory’s make sure you have a loaf of bread handy because at £2.85 for a small chip (consisting of about 10 dog ended and cold chips) it’s daylight robbery! I’ve gotten small/kids menu from other chippy’s and have never seen a portion size that small - or trays that small. I have gotten more chips with a pastie or sausage from other chippy’s than what Dory’s consider an actual portion. Wouldn’t mind if the price reflected the portion sizes or if it was quality over quantity but what I got was cold and waxy and were eaten immediately so that wasn’t the issue. First and last time going to Dory’s — worst chippy I’ve ever eaten out of.

App is completely misleading, burger on its own £3.95 but under the meal section charged £6.15 for meal, when I called to say there was no chips they said it was because we added cheese (£2.20 for cheese on the burger?) girl on the phone was completely unhelpful and rude and couldn’t care less to be quite frank. Came off the phone very angry and disappointed, customer service costs nothing!

Popular spot so you can have a bit of a wait on occasions. Friendly staff, big portions and the food is really good (my photos don't make it look appealing but looks can be deceiving). Ingredients sourced locally - boards up in store showing where they get them which is pretty cool #supportlocal.
