Mauds Lisburn in Lisburn

Absolutely lovely lunch at Mauds today! The food was delicious, portions generous, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I ordered hot chocolate and it was the nicest hot chocolate I've ever had! We'll definitely be back :)

The staff in the cafe is friendly. It is good place to have a dessert bite. Highly recommend the Belgian chocolate and banana crepes. It has a lot of options for choosing and favourable for everyone.

Great selection of light foods on the menu from Lasange to Crepes. Toasties, Open sandwiches with lovely sides. Their homemade ice cream is superb.

Visited here some while ago, during lockdown. Staff were lovely and very accommodating, service was great and food was excellent. If I had one criticism it would be this, I ordered poached eggs with bacon, poached eggs were excellent, however, the bacon appeared to have been deep fried, (a poor chefs / cooks lazy way to cook bacon). Had the bacon been fried the tradional way it would've been 5 stars.Nonetheless, I would go back and just not have the bacon. Onk! Onk!

Any other mauds fill the tub. Paying for two scoops usually means you get a full tub. Here you literally get two scoops. I wouldn't call them large and they'd be lucky to fill half a tub. Over £12 for three miserable tubs. Guess I'll not go to this one again. Stroked.

Best caramel latte in Belfast in my honest opinion and I didn't even know they offered refills. Also, the breakfast was well done👌🏾

Great stop off for coffee and scones. Warm and friendly. One tip - unless you have teeth like grinders, don't get toasted sourdough. Will be back but will try the bagels.

My wife had checked with the fool at the door who confirmed that the store had three flavours of sorbet. We sit down and my wife queued for 15 min (yes the staff are v slow in this place) only to be told, quite abruptly, that they haven’t sold sorbet for years. Know your job adequately or get another one that’s less taxing on your brains. This is twice I’ve had to get up and leave this place but there won’t be a third time. Woeful. Go to Barnams instead folks.

The Queue just to get in this place is unbelievable. The wait to make my order with my Mum must've been nearly 20 minutes and she can't stand for too long. The thing is, they have to wait for a table to become free before they can sit people down. But for such a popular place they should have a much bigger premises. I remember waiting ages on a previous visit too. I had a Coffee and the ice cream was beautiful, but I don't have patience for long queues like that usually.

Great place. Food is always good, ice cream is bomb and the staff are friendly helpful but the only downfall is the presentation of the cheesecakes and cakes that i coulda bought from a shop and made it look better with more effort. I said to the girl that works there which she replied awk sure it's half price " the help out to eat out scheme" like seriously!!
