Have dinned at many Indian restaurants but always come back here for the food. Definitely our preferred choice.

Rang to book a table to use a Groupon I bought, to try the place but apparently they don't take Groupon on a Saturday. Bit of false advertisement by revivals.

My partner and I went here thinking we where going somewhere swanky because its in hillsborough. We walked through the door and it was like stepping back to 1980, the decor is very dated, not only that the restaurant itself is cold, they have a fire and heaters, they just don't turn them on or keep them down low,. One man seemed to be doing everyone's job, he was waiter bar man and possibly cook 😂😂😂, my kebab starter was OK a bit chewy, but the rest of the food wasn't great, the Nann bread seemed shop bought, and the dishes didn't have much of a kick, they also seemed more watery than creamy. If your into your Indian food this isn't the place for you

Great authentic Indian restaurant, with brilliant food and excellent social distancing.

We had booked a table for 6.30. we moved from reception to our table at 7.20. within 30minutes we were the only people left in the restaurant. There appeared to be two people working in the restaurant - serving and cooking. The young waiter was competent and professional. The restaurant itself was clean but could use some redecoration. The food was nice. They seemed to do a reasonable carry-out service. I think the building itself is a little out of the way and this doesn't help as they don't have 'passing trade'.

Not overly impressed recently. Last time I went for a take out is was smothered in salt. Just got a chicken pasanda and no heat at all. Only went for it as it said nuts in it, cashew, almonds and pistachio and didn't actually get any nuts at all. Chips was soggy. Nan was stale and poppadoms were stale.Think it needs a new chef or a bit better care of ingredients and cooking. Really unimpressed. Very average.

Most reviews say about the dated decor, please don't let that put you off as the food is amazing. From the chicken pakora starter which was the best I've tasted, to the chicken Madras...... The meat was so tender and spices were perfect. I would highly recommend.

Thought I’d add a review albeit 3 years late, my girlfriend just reminded me of one of our first dates which was here! The place almost feels stuck in time which is actually fantastic , the food was brilliant and we actually really enjoyed the evening. The waiter/cashier (could also be the chef) was a really pleasant and friendly bloke. We’re actually planning on revisiting when we get a chance!

Just had revivals takeaway. I was told a half hour wait on the food. Ufortunately i mixed this place up with Curry Leaf which I heard good reports about. Really not nice food at all and went to the bin! There was only one other couple in the place, really dated decor and toilets were gross with damp carpet! The owner was rude when I said the food was bland and tasteless. When I asked was he going to do anything to make it up to me as for the wasted trip and money he just kept saying they were there 24 years, must be my tastebuds and that he was busy! never again!

Fantastic variety of lovely Indian cuisine. Friendly and polite service. We were greeted on arrival and seated in the spacious reception area. We were escorted to our table and offered poppadoms and dips while waiting on our starters. After well presented and tasty starters. We had our main meals. I was delighted with my choose the chef's special Punjabi mix. Lovely evening in nice surroundings. Parking is on site up a lane away from the town centre. If you enjoy good food and great service in quiet surroundings this is a great place.
