Had a excellent meal last night with my family. The staff Allison and Ruth were very attentive and welcoming and pleasant. Would highly recommend the Pheasant for good food and a professional service . I would like to say a big thank you for our good night out to the staff and the Chefs too . The staff were great. If you go try the warm breads they were lovely but the butter was amazing. Quality of good very good and it had lovely chilled out ambience.

Great service. Friendly staff. Lovely food. Cosey and warm. Great menu. Just dropped a star as a little disappointed there was no 'Valentine Day' atmosphere. Just a little candle or flower or little hearts on the table would have made it more special 😉❤❤

I've been going to the pheasant every once in a while for a few years now and I have to say, I've never had a bad experience. It's warm and cosy inside on a winter's day with the fire lit, and equally as nice a place to sit outside in the sun for a few pints. The food is excellent, steaks cooked beautifully, a good choice on the menu and prices are in and around what you'd pay anywhere in a similar setting. There have been one or two times that I have experienced slightly flustered staff due to a possible shortage of staff considering the amount of customers, but I have never felt like it has affected the service that has been provided. Check it out for a family meal, dress up nice and have a romantic evening, or head out with a few mates for a couple of quiet pints.

Great old style pub/restaurant for family dining staff are friendly and welcoming bit out of the way but worth it there is a kids play area plenty of parking and the pints are creamy. Food is delicious top marks

I always have a great experience at The Pheasant. My experience a couple of weeks ago was brilliant. Very easy to book, very clear instructions on what to do and what to expect and the food was delicious!
