Homebird Cafe in North Down

We arrived late afternoon so that may have been a factor in the fruit scone being a bit overcooked. In saying that it had a pleasant slightly lemony taste. My cappuccino could have been hotter but those who had the americano and hot chocolate were happy with their drinks. Perhaps better to call in nearer lunch time and the breakfast menu appears plentiful.

Homebird is our ‘go to’ coffee shop in Holywood. Whether it’s on my own in between appointments or with my family, this is our favourite place to sit in or take away (cherry scones!) 👌🏼

Have got breakfast in here a couple of times and can't fault it it's superb the eggs are lovely and done perfectly and their coffee is lovely. I must also compliment this cafe very highly on its gluten free provision my wife a few years back was diagnosed with celiac disease and cannot eat anything with gluten and this cafe is the only cafe we've been to that has a fully gluten free fry up on their menu where you don't have to ask for substitutes and change it, we've always enjoyed a good breakfast and it's been a real pleasure to be able to get her a fry up again that she can eat with no worries, we drive from Lisburn to here for that very reason though we love Hollywood for a walk round as well.

Stopped for Sunday breakfast. Turkish eggs was the nicest breakfast iv had in a long time. 10/10 Delish!!

Visited for lunch with a friend yesterday , both of us had the baby breakfast , it was delicious, beautifully cooked ingredients and a perfect poached egg on top. All served by lovely staff.👏

Good selection on the menu, all sounds tasty. Enjoyed my meal and would happily go back again.
