A lovely (genuinely) traditional bar where you can get a first class pint of Guinness from pleasant and helpful bar staff. The last time we were in was St Patrick's evening (2022) and were entertained by Not Safe With A Razor, playing a wide range of quality folk music and adaptations.

Excellent jazz band. Quiet crowd, reserved applause. Dog friendly. Small dashound ,large amazing Intuit dog.well behaved ,impressive.Negative ----no outcider..two ciders in bottles.Magners and co Armagh brand.Band stopped and background music took over.

Nice to see the old girl opened again, and thankfully updated whilst managing to keep her traditional look. We were served by Kaya, who was very pleasant and professional. Lots of friendly locals too, I've already planned to return!

·

Great bar,the new are absolutely amazing, they are a team that actually truly care about Great customer service, since it was taken over last year it has transformed into a lovely friendly welcoming atmosphere, that it lacked before, highly recommended

·

Great for pub food at a reasonable price. Mixed crowd. No need to book. Covid - better to book to make sure you get a table. Social distancing in place. Redesigned beer garden. Friendly staff (loathe being called Sir though but guess they think they are being polite)

Jenny watts has been revamped inside and out ! New staff seemed very pleasant. Best of all Ken Haddock back playing on a Thursday!

·

Great food. Great staff. Lovely place with loads of history. And 2 open fires going so lovely and warm

·

In all fairness was a little let down by the Christmas lunch. Also 1st 2 draft pints ordered where not available. Can't fault staff friendly and attentive. Was there on Sunday so had band which is away a hit. But just a little let down

·

Quick bite to eat before the NI vs Italy game. Food was good, staff attentive and friendly. Added entertainment as two very North Down oldies swore their way through their drinks at the level of a large megaphone 📣

·

Food outstanding and well priced .. staff very friendly .. Good choice off beers .. always a great place to start a Saturday afternoon off 🙌
