My family having been getting takeaways from Koi 2-3 times a month for the past 5 years. We usually order the same thing every time. Usually, it tastes really good, but tonight, your standards dropped. The thin noodles tasted very poor as there was no soy sauce or bean sprouts on them. Dry and tasteless - so were left uneaten. In the chicken in black bean sauce with green peppers dish, I asked and paid for extra mushrooms, however there were only six very small pieces of mushroom in the dish, which when put together, amounted to no more than 1-2 small mushrooms. That's ridiculous!Clearly, something has changed since we last ordered take away a week ago. Perhaps it was a different chef, but you need to be careful about supplying substandard food to longstanding customers, as otherwise you'll lose future custom.I have highly recommended Koi to friends, neighbours and colleagues, so I'm hoping this experience tonight is only a blip and won't happen again.Note: I DID RAISE THESE CONCERNS WITH KOI DIRECTLY, TWICE, BUT THEY DIDN'T REPLY.

Fantastic meal as always in Koi! Lovely fresh vegetables and great flavours. The portions are generous but not so full that you feel uncomfortable. And great service by all the staff. They also offer extensive takeaway option too!

Great bring your own restaurant in Hollywood. Lovely modern decor and pleasant layout, ideal for any occasion. Work night out, quiet dinner for 2 or family occasion. Service was excellent, staff very attentive, polite and efficient. Food was lovely especially the starters. We got platter for 8 people and had spring roll, ribs, satay chicken and prawn toast each. The food was beautifully fresh. Main courses good too. Great selection on the menu with Chinese and Japanese options. Honey chilli chicken and Teriyaki beef especially enjoyed by our party.

Lovely family run restaurant. Excellent service, some prices look expensive at first but the portions are huge. The staff are very helpful and very tolerant of needy 5-60 year olds. They tend to remember names and faces of their customer base.No desert menu for adults but the childrens menu portions come with ice cream and could fill an adult.Book in advance for weekend dinner tables and main public holidays. No set dress code, take away is also available.

I love this restaurant. Good, casual Asian dining. Great value for money and I've never been disappointed by my meal. Very extensive menu too.

Nice food but the portion control is very strict. They recently changes their takeaway cartons again and these are the smallest I've ever seen. Don't expect to get much food for your money.A few staff members struggle to understand orders and have regularly made mistakes with mine (No prawns somehow meant I got prawns"). Asking for gravy but getting curry etc.The good news is they were rated as 2* from the council which is now upgraded to 4*. Pity about the cost to portion ratio though. I've stopped going there now because of it.

Freaking loved this restaurant when I lived in Holywood. The Rending Curry was superb! Nice restaurant, minimalist and a great location (A stones throw from Johnny the Jig and a short dander to The Dirty Duck). The staff are awesome, and if it's not busy during the week, expect to have a bit of banter.
