Just had lunch with my husband and daughter at the Rambling rose , it was delicious. Great menu and very good prices . We all had roast dinner 2 chicken and 1 roast beef , very good servings and the staff were lovely, they also serve pensioners dinner and there is also a very good kids menu . So something to suit everyone. They also have frozen pies , chucken& broccoli and such likes to take home . Will definitely return .This is thier ginger cake it comes with custard but I had it with ice cream .

Disabled friendly, as are the staff. Premises are pristine and very comfortable. Excellent, disabled facilities. I take my elderly mother for Brunch every week and find the experience welcoming and the varied menu good value.

An excellent place for older diners with traditional fare very well cooked. Staff are friendly and helpful. My only criticism would be the dining area is in need of updating.

Its an odd place, the garden centre site it is located on is closed but this restaurant has managed to remain open. The food is nice, seems to all be home made. Traditional fare, well made and reasonably priced.

We called in to have something to eat but didn't no that high tea was on from 4pm till 6pm and very kindly the staff asked the kit hen if they would serve us so to are surprise it was OK and what a lovely tea we had will definitely. be back again.

Enjoyed our visit tonight. Service was fast and efficient. Food as usual first class. Cant beat it for price and bring your own drink if required. No corkage charge. Will be back soon.

Have just had a superb meal here with 24 friends. Food and service were excellent. Staff were professional, helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend The Rambling Rose. Looking forward to returning.

Visited as I passed one day, my sister was with me and we were the only people in the place. It is on the back of the now defunct garden centre. It is well laid out, the staff were pleasant and attentive. The food look nice and tasty. They have a good selection of home made frozen foods.
