Ordered 3x 12oz sirloin steaks, chips and pepper sauce. Received 3x frying steaks chips and horrible tasteless veg curry made with tinned carrot, peas and sweetcorn plus frozen cauliflower. Pure mush. Also, an hour late so suspect someone drove to a petrol station to buy steak and tinned veg. If you don't have stock you should phone the customer to offer alternative. 1st and last order from here and near £40 wasted.

So I was served both mild Chicken Korma, with boiled rice, & also a cup of hot chocolate., whenever I visited the Star of Bengal. So, both the food & the cup of hot chocolate , weren't bad; at all So furthermore & finally, they were served by staff, who were both friendly, & welcoming, to me. So, therefore, thank-you!

Love this little hidden Gem, the food and service is top quality.

The nicest chicken korma and masala I've ever had. I will definitely be coming back, too delicious!

2 hours and 15 minutes later and our food still hadn’t arrived... had to give our daughter a separate dinner and the customer service when I called after 1.5hrs and again at 2 hrs was appalling. Food was cold and our order was missing a rice! The owner hung up on me! Have used these guys for a long time but after the past couple of experiences, I am sorry to say we won’t be back despite the great food. So so disappointing!

Great inexpensive food and nice staff from an established Indian restaurant in Bangor. Here I had a chicken tikka kebab in a peshwari nan with salad and mayo.

Used to absolutely love this place, but recently the prices change every time we order (which is about once a week). We priced two curries with plain naan, which should be included in the price. I was quoted almost £22......its usually 18 including delivery....... Seems the new guy on the till likes to charge £6 for delivery 🤔. When we order a keema naan it seems to be just plain mince in it as well which is disappointing. The usual guys who answer the phone are all lovely though.

First time here but had been strongly recommended. Lamb tiki with salad and house sauce. It was to die for -- lots of really lovley lamb, the sauce, amazing and I have never had Indian bread as good. Will definitely be back. Open until 11 pm and Friday abd Saturday until 12 just brilliant.

Big crowd of us went. Food was very good and really great value when you can bring your own booze. It's not fine dining by any means but good service and good grub

Can be quiet as it's a bit out of the way. Food excellent, staff friendly. Has limited selection of drinks so best bring your own. Worth checking out.
