The Ava Grill Restaurant in North Down

I adore the Ava bar! I went there with tech friends and I also brought my friend last August. The food is beyond amazing and the vibe is brilliant! It’s performed groups and I’m going back again for sure!

Disappointed, had the scampi, unfortunately there was a lot more batter than prawns.Friend also had scampi and said hers was the same. Pity as last few meals where good, but for over £17, definitely not value for money, in both quality and quantity unless you love batter.

Food is lovely! Staff are really nice. The overall atmosphere in The Ava is pleasant and it is a nice place to sit, eat and drink for a couple of hours.

Had the steak and it was gorgeous a little overpriced in my opinion but still tasted great, very friendly and attentive staff and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere

The best meal in NI, and we've certainly had a fair few while on holiday. Dinner for two, we had the duck and the platice fish, and boy were we not disappointed. Great value and a good atmosphere all round. quick table service as well

Staying in Bangor again tonight. Googled to see where to eat, and had a nosey in through a few windows. Ended up at Ava - again! Third time now. And it certainly didn't disappoint!Friendly welcome. Managed to nab a table without a booking (only just!) Prompt service. Food was really good. I opted for the Halloumi grill, and my husband the steak sandwich. Other than several fatty bits on the steak our plates were cleared. Would've been good to have some form of 'green' on the plate along with the steak.Reasonably priced, other than dessert which was £6 for a ridiculously small portion. Tasty however!Four pints, two mains, one dessert = £56.Highly recommend. Again! 😁

Wow! So stylish, so cozy! I loved everything on the menu. What was even better: the Sunday roast menu was still available at 6 pm. Broccoli and blue cheese starter was to die for followed by mushroom risotto. Really nice! They have an impressive cocktail menu. Make sure you'll try at least one. The 🍒 on the top was... the staff: very pleasant, attentive and professional. Cant wait to be back!
