Excellent wee chippy. I had a cod supper and it was cooked how I like it - light and crispy.

Was told about this wee place by a friend so took a run down from South Belfast.I wasn't disappointed. The wait was 10-15 mins after ordering, happy enough with that, thats how you know things are cooked fresh, portions were bigger than most takeaway places the fish on both Cod suppers was cooked perfectly and was without doubt the thickest fish I have ever had. Good load of chips in the box, that were also cooked to perfection. In all honesty I really enjoyed the food, to the point the seagulls will have nothing to hoke for.The menu had a varied range of seafood dishes as well as all the traditional chippy items, so the next time I visit, and I will visit again, have to try something not always seen on a chippy menu, what that is, who knows.Well worth the run down.Well done Ruddy Duck, well done.

Excellent up-market chippy...a cut above the usual fare. Just a couple of tables to dine in but great for takeaway.

Lovely fish and chips. No where near our house but we go down, get our good and eat in the car at Seapark. Lovely grub!

The guys here are just great nothing is ever too much trouble even when I arrived with my sister in law from England so near to closing time! They still delivered the freshest tastiest food we have ever had. My sister in law shrieked real fishcakes not those flat things!!!! 🤭 Now they are complaining because it is too far to come for decent fish and chips!!! I love bringing my friends and family here to enjoy the treasure chest we have found. Thanks Guys x

I love this place. You can sit in or take away and the menu is classic chippie, plus some items you won't see anywhere else, like crab claws. The fact it sells fresh fish from a hatch next door helps you realise that you are supporting a chain of local businesses.

This was the worst food I have ever eaten. Chicken gougons were soggy and greasy. Badly cooked. Chips were also soggy and greasy. The chips were small.. Looked like they were thawed too much and broke up. Usually other places have good big chips.. Not scraps like these. I was sick later on.

Great selection of fish. I had the hake supper, and my partner had a chicken burger (there is your classic cod/haddock but also sole and pollock - hard to find elsewhere). Both used quality ingredients, and they were succulent and tasty. Would highly recommend.
