The Sunday lunch was beautiful but service was slow, our meal was brought with the meat & roast potatoes but we were waiting a while for all the vegetables, and there was no plain potatoes or mash, not everyone likes roast potatoes so if your someone that doesn't you'll have no potatoes with your meal. Also I asked what was on the cheesecake and I was told that it had strawberries and raspberries, when it came it had one raspberry on it, when I told the girl who brought the desserts she said I can go and get you some strawberries, she came back with one strawberry cut in four,, but if there were strawberries why weren't they on the cheesecake in the first place very disappointing in that respect. Don't know if it would be my choice to go back again.

Very disappointing, poor service and such a shame as we were treating Scottish visitors to the area for the first time. There was a wedding on so they advised they were too busy to put out baby shower balloons etc as promised. Table was booked for 2.30 and it was nearer 3.30 and after initial drinks for our afternoon tea to be served. I won't rush back...

I booked the louby lou's elf hunt experience for my two grandsons who are 7 and 5. They both loved it. We were asked to meet outside the main entrance of Bedwelty house. We were greeted by elf Jolly, who then handed us over to elf Jingle. All in all there was a group of around 20 children, plus adults. She then took us around the park looking for elf buddy. The story and costumes were great, they kept the children grasped and fully entertained. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone. I think the adults might have enjoyed it a bit more than the kids 😉

Great park, definitely would go there again!Great trees, plants and sculptures. Not been in the house because of Covid. We couldn't park near the park, (only for disabled parking facilities) Had coffee, cake and sandwiches, which were lovely.

My son and daughter-in-law had their wedding reception here last Tuesday. The management was awesome - Lewis and Helen were outstanding. I believe we had the best venue in Wales. You won’t beat this venue for value, service, beautiful grounds. The food was the best I’ve had - nothing was too much trouble. All the wedding party had nothing but praise for the staff and quality of service. Thanks so much for everything

Went today with my friend for a pot of tea. The weather was lovely so we sat outside in the gardens. It is a wonderful place with wonderful gardens.( I went for a wonder in my electric Wheelchair) Very family friendly and if you love Cream teas they do lovely ones here. BEDWELLTY HOUSE IS VERY WHEELCHAIR FRIENDLY TOO.

Went on Easter Sunday as the COVID travel restrictions were lifted recently. The house itself was closed and we didn’t go inside but the cafe was still open which was serving snacks and drinks outdoors without the need to go inside and I was impressed with the vegan & gluten free options. there was lots of signs pointing out the fascinating history of this place and made the visit that little bit better and also the landscape itself is very well looked after and stunning. Would recommend going if you haven’t already

Local 'tourist' from only a few miles away (a Swansea lad).Nice gardens overall; reasonably well maintained. The ponds were not though - caked with algae and clearly haven't had any attention for years. Even the three ducks I saw looked sad. With that said, everything else looked fine - and it was a relaxing hour or so walk across the whole of the site. Plenty of photos taken which I will cherish. Apart from the pond photos of course, which I will probably delete.
