Friendly staff and atmosphere. Food arrived quickly and hot. First time I've been since new owners took over, will be back.

We enjoyed a delicious meal in a lovely setting.Friendly staff, very accommodating and helpful.We spent a wonderful few hours with friends there.Will definitely return.

Excellent Sunday lunch beef was delicious and the sticky toffee pudding was lush. Excellent service will definitely recommend very popular with locals.

Excellent friendly pub whether you have children or just close family. I took my mother there for a lunchtime meal, as a sometimes 'picky' eater she in her element. Excellent beef roast dinner and magic starter. She is looking forwards to a return match! The Sidoli ice creams were brilliant and all for a reasonable price. Shall definitely be returning. Thank you for a cracking lunch. Highly recommended

Called in on the off chance of a table being available and we were in luck!!. Highly recommend The Hobby Horse, we've had a few lovely lunchtime meals now and all have been cooked to perfection. Great portion sizes as we do love our food!. The staff and owner give excellent customer service and nothing is to much trouble for any of them. We're going to book evening meal this week and looking forward to it already.

Lovely, friendly staff who were very accommodating when we turned up unannounced on a busy afternoon for Sunday lunch. Food was served quickly and tasted absolutely delicious. Veggie options available, great lager, nice decor and beer garden at the front of the property. Fab!!

If you want an exceptional Sunday lunch and very friendly staff and most of all good price then you need to give the Hobby Horse a go, guaranteed you will not be disappointed. It's been a long time since I last visited here, I was pleasently surprised how nice the pub is these days. Newly refurbished and it looks lovely! Very welcoming, fantastic service and the food was really good! They catered to all our needs , even cooking a vegan curry specially for my wife as there were no vegan options on the lunchtime menu! I would definitely recommend The Hobby Horse to anyone looking for a family meal or a drink in their cosy bar by the Woodburner!
