Friendly staff, good menu, good food. Called in on the off chance and we were very pleased with our visit...Give them a try...

How is this place busy? Can only assume that all the old folks that dine here have lost all taste buds and perception of time. We had a 3 course lunch menu, garlic mushrooms - salad was the best part. Main was basic but all cheap produce. But the biggest disaster was the desert, took 45 minutes and told them 4 times what we ordered. I asked to cancel, get a refund, as we waited it came out. It was a microwave toffee pudding that takes 1minute in the microwave! And we wasn’t the only one, there was people complaining everywhere, but why don’t they leave reviews to save more people wasting money?

More licensed cafe than wine bar. Clean with friendly staff. Plain food, half price on this iccasion. My partner enjoyed his burger and the chips were lush, but my corned beef pie was the worst I've ever had. The filling was mushy, tasteless and flowed out over theplate, very unappetising.

We ordered food for delivery on the Deliveroo app. Firstly the delivery driver drove practically past our front door to make a delivery but then carried on to Nantyglo then back to Brynmawr and then finally to us. The vegan deluxe pizza looked as though it had been involved in a RTC; most of it was upside down and/or stuck to the lid with the toppings strewn everywhere else apart from on the pizza. As for the vegan korma and rice... a korma is coconut based giving it a mild, creamy flavour. This was tomato based with not even the slightest hint of coconut. The vegetables were either tinned or frozen and had been boiled to the point of droopiness. The tiny bit of flavour appeared to have come from a shop bought curry sauce mix. The rice was stuck together in a lump with crusty bits on the top and unidentifiable red flakes sprinkled all over it. Needless to say the dogs had a feast this evening.

We had a lovely night.Very quiet, which suited us.The staff were very friendly and accommodating.The food was delicious, variation on actual menu but didn't take away from the fact that the food was hot and really tasty.Great choices, tasty food, spotlessly clean , good prices, friendly staff.What else could you ask for !

Nice place, friendly staffed. The food was nice and well cooked. The menu isn't bad though some items are clearly overpriced
