Willow Tree Brynmawr in Blaenau Gwent

The staff were very polite and attentive. We didn't need to wait long for our order to be taken and the food was lovely when it came. Good portion sizes too.

Busy, traditional pub, dog friendly also wheelchair accessible. We've been here more times always a good experience. Two for one (buy-one-get-one-free) on all main meals. You can walk in but better do a reservation as it's normally busy.

Extremely tasty food and great friendly staff. Our server Matt was very polite, friendly and professional and couldn't do enough for us. Really impressed with the food, having been to numerous Marstens before (With a few I've vowed never to go back to) this is hands down the best one. Food could be considered pricey but with the BOGOF offer it's a bargain at the end . Great stuff 👍

First visit to the Willow tree this lunch time. Staff were very friendly and efficient. The Fish finger sandwich was fab.👍and even better came served with a small portion of lovely golden thick cut chips. Food was very prompt and piping hot. Been looking forward to a fish sandwich for so long, no-one seems to do them for adults, well worth the wait. Will definitely be back for some more. Keep up the good work👏👏👍

Great service.New menu not impressed.Rump steak was like chewing through tough sinew.Jacket potato smaller, side salad smaller.1 mushroom. 2 onion rings. One was half the size of the other.Only marge not butter to go on jacket.Cut backs have definitely show on the plate.

We had a really nice time and were greeted and made to feel welcome from the minute we stepped in the door 🙂 All staff were pleasant, courteous and helpful and the food was Really Lovely and we did not have to wait long to have our order taken and for the food to be served. Also its in beautiful settings and well presented 👍Thank You to everyone.

We went to the restaurant as a large group for a birthday party. On arrival, staff couldn't find the booking and told us we would need to wait for the back table to clear before we could be seated.Luckily, some of the party didn't turn up, otherwise, we would have been waiting over an hour instead of the 35 minute wait we had.Service was extremely slow and they were clearly understaffed. After another hour wait to order and get served, the food arrived and in fairness was reasonably good.Overall, not a great experience though and I don't think I'll be going back.

We visit the willow tree in a regular basis and are always greeted with a warm and welcoming smile and greeting. Food is always exceptional and all staff make sure that everything is to your needs. Daniel and his team are doing a wonderful job at making sure everyone is happy and we will continue to have put meals at this place.

Lovely warm welcome from Ashton. The food was hot, fresh and served quickly. All the staff were friendly and approachable hence this was out third visit since Christmas for me and my dad and most definitely not our last. Thank you & see you soon.

Very good service and large menu. Very popular in the area,
