19 Mary Street in Bridgend

What a lovely place to stay! In the heart of porthcawl we booked for my birthday to stay in the family room what a fantastic room everything so clean and tidy, lovely comfy bed, nice clean fresh towels, welcoming teas, coffees, and hot chocolate. Everything had been placed so beautifully. we felt right at home. You can see the hard work that has been put into this lovely hotel we would of loved to stay another night but due to family commitments we are unable to but we definitely be back!

£177 two night stay I thought was overpriced. No meet and great on arrival??? Key code entry system with another code to get your door key.No breakfast..A double room with the smallest en suit I've ever seen. No soap and only the tiniest bottle of shower gel and body lotion you can get. (Sample size). You could literally use the sink and toilet at the same time, my husband leaned forward to pick something of the floor and hit his head on it. Definitely not enough space to dry off after a shower. The pictures show the hotel as having a dining room???I understand Covid has changed the way we do things now, but surely your prices should reflect the service or lack of you now get????

Nice small quiet clean hotel with modern rooms. Alice the owner is cery pleasent and helpful. Checkin/checkout straight forward. Would definitely recommend.

We had a very comfy room, nicely decorated. The room was very clean, it had tea and coffee facilities, the bed was comfy and shower was good and it was quiet.

Great location near the seafront. Great comms allowed me to checkin without assistance. The room was really nice - great bathroom with plenty of towels, clean and looks great although lots of stairs if you are on the higher floors. Really nice and helpful staff - was able to get me an iron and ironing board.Overall really nice and if I am in the area again I would definitely book the same place to stay.

Lovely b and b very quiet next to all amenities very modern in decor and bed very very comfortable also very clean booklet for you to read with information about the area sign on door as you leave to remind you to take your keys as the lock is a chubb lock so this was very helpful .towels toiletries supplied tea milk coffee and kettle as well. TV. As well .pictures on wall and mirrors and good lighting on top floor of a 3 story house sadly no lifts here .but otherwise a wonderfull b and b .owner available 24/7 via phone and text if you have any issues .would definitely recommend a stay here 😀

Lovely room, good value for money, check in and out very easy. We were able to park in the street which is always a bonus. Alice the host is fab!

19 Mary Street is a lovely set of serviced rooms, I've been staying here for work for a few nights recently and it's so much nicer than chain hotels. Owner Alice is very helpful, the room I've been in is beautifully decorated and the bed is ridiculously comfy. An access code to the front door is text to you on the day of arrival, then you collect your key from a key safe box to let yourself in. Beds are made up each day, fresh towels etc. The location is great too, several nice restaurants are only a few minutes walk, and if there's no street parking available, a large car park is only just across the road which is free after 6pm. The only slight downside is that the shower pressure isn't that good. But other than that, I'd definitely recommend here, and will return next time I'm here.
