Aberkenfig in Bridgend

Yet again lovely food with really friendly staff. Very popular even though it was early evening on a Monday. Ribs and crispy beef are amazing.

Celebrated our 50th Anniversary here tonight. 12 people .The restaurant was so busy with many party's but the service and the food were amazing .Thank you so much and to the lovely pianist who came back to play Congratulations . A great evening

Great experience. Staff were brilliant settling us in to our seats and serving us throughout. It has been many years since we last came. Will try to come again soon.

One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. We ordered the The New Garden Special Set meal and I would highly recommend! So tasty and hot and a variety of delicious dishes. From satay fillet of beef to crispy chicken. On set menu we had about 10 different dishes. All really tasty.

Beautiful food, excellent service and quality. Reasonable prices and always busy. The restaurants reputation exceeds all expectations. One of my favourite places to dine 5*

First time I have been here in over 6 years and was not disappointed. One of the best Chinese meals I have had in a looooong time. Every dish was fantastic and the service was great. Very busy for a week night, but that is a positive as shows popular this place. Will be visiting again.

Bit of a concern when family turned up for a surprise 65th birthday meal, staff couldn’t find reservation details but thankfully it was sorted, staff made us all feel very welcome but the orders and service wasn’t very efficient, staff done their best but put us all at a stressful level as drinks took over 30mins to arrive and that was only 2 rounds! We’ve previously had many family occasions at risk restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed but after tonight will unfortunately not be going back especially on the weekend.

Great staff great food always had best service from friendly staff and recommended dishes to suit my taste very pleased with the service we have received every time we have been there well done staff

This place is an absolute gem, the service and the food is absolutely A1. The locals know it well, so don’t judge from outside, it’s huge inside and above all the food is fantastic. Started frequenting when working in the area, now anytime we are in the area we are sure to stop in for a good Chinese meal.

Absolutely love visiting here. The food and service is always excellent!
