Lovely cafe Devon is a great host I've always hated coleslaw but Devon's coleslaw is amazing looking forward to trying a curry.

This place is just amazing! The food is incredibly good, full of flavour and fresh. We had chicken stew and chicken curry. If you go there get something from the Jamaican specialities of the day. I cannot recommend this enough.

Found this little gem whilst looking for the Wetherspoon that the lady at the train station told us about. The chef was very accommodating and had a welcoming banter. Me and my colleague had a late lunch here before getting our trains back home. The food was very tasty and well presented. The customer service was excellent. Definitely pop in next time I’m in the area now that I know there’s somewhere that sells Caribbean food. However he said he can’t get hard dough bread there so I might have to bring my own. Great little place with a good variety of food choices, hot and cold drinks. I had the spinach and broccoli soup….. absolutely delicious 😋

We decided to have a spur of the moment breakfast and we found Bauhaus! This was our first visit and it won't be the last. Lovely atmosphere with an obvious Jamaican vibe. Devon and staff were so friendly and welcoming. We ordered a full English cooked breakfast and scrambled egg on toast and this was the first time I had been asked how I liked my eggs scrambled, which was a nice surprise. The food was superb and we both cleared our plates - unusual for me so it must have been good! Highly recommended.

Really lovely spot in the middle of Bridgend. Such welcoming and friendly people. Me and my kid had the Bauhaus breakfast, which was enormous for the price and the hottest temperature food I've ever been served, no doubt about it being freshly cooked, we could see Devon cooking it from our table! Very relaxed atmosphere, no rush no stress just an old fashioned café where you can take five and chill a minute. We will be back for the Jamaican specials!
