Dockside bar and grill in Bridgend

Wow food was great service was second to none. Lunchtime visit with my wife. Would 100% recommend. 🤗

Nice little restaurant situated near to the seafront. I popped in on the off chance they had space for Sunday lunch and took the last table for 4. The food was fantastic. Together we had the lamb shank, chicken dinner and pizza, all of which were superb. I'll defo being going back.

I have been to Dockside bar & grill a few times now and I am never disappointed, the atmosphere, staff, service and food is second to none!!!If you find yourself in Porthcawl, then you need to visit Dockside, outstanding, award winning restaurant!!I would highly recommend the homemade bread & butter pudding with homemade rum & raisin ice cream,,,, it's to die for!!!

Great food but shocking organisation why would you open at 12pm and have your first sitting at that time. Some of our party were late and it caused problems.We were asked at one point if we could move by another dinner as we were finishing off.

Had a lovely meal there today starter and mains were all very good will be going again soon, staff very attentive too

We enjoyed an amazing Sunday dinner with the family and was amazing we enjoyed beef, lamb and chicken the meat was cooked to perfection and the roasties (which i really believe is hard to be beat the home cooked ) but was amazing, we were also happy to hear that they had dog designated areas as we were all on a caravan holiday it's always nice to hear 😀

Booked dockside for 5 of us for the Mrs birthday while staying at Trecco Bay as the ratings were pretty good.Arrived at 5:30 and seated fairly quickly (although under the wrong name somehow?) as we were the only people there.Couple of us ordered from the specials menu, kids meal and some veggie options.The waitress initially came back to say the kids option we wanted wasn't available so after a little convincing got the little one to decide on something else (was only sausage).5 mins later she came back to tell us duck wasn't available which two of us had ordered so hurriedly selected something else (pork belly noodles).Starters arrived, were ok. Small portion of bread and olives for the price weren't worth it.Mains arrived, pizza was nice from the veggie side. Chicken in sauce was OK.Unfortunately both of the noodle dishes were quite undercooked (the actual noodles, not the meat/veg) so the waitress kindly took these back. New portions arrived that were cooked slightly more through. The waitress asked if they were OK but we were a little embarrassed to say that they weren't as didn't want to be a nuisance.Kids fish seemed to go down well.All in all, wouldn't go back unfortunately.

Everything was very good but be careful because the shellfish and fish plate (pictured below) is very small. The rest was delicious!

Dockside , well it’s not often I get to post about a perfect evening of fine food great service.From Risotto , Salmon , Scallops and perfectly cooked lamb and red wine jus!-and amazing desserts .A local restaurant with no awards that deserves them!See you again soon.5 Star night .Thank you for restoring my faith in Porthcawl.

Amazing food. Wonderful staff. Beautiful restaurant. Will be back from Newport just to come here again!
