Globe Inn in Bridgend

We went here for a meal whilst on our holiday. It was lovely really nice fresh home cooked food. We didn't book and just walked in, and even though they couldn't really accommodate us as they were full, they did their best to find us a table for five people. The food didn't take long to come out of the kitchen and we all enjoyed the meal and drinks, thank you for a lovely time.

It's like the tardis, much bigger on the inside.Staff 10/10 - friendly, polite & helpful. Even had a bowl of water for our dog.Big car park & ample outside tables.This was our 1st vist & will definitely be returning 😁

We came here for lunch today and are very happy that we did. Becky made our party and dog feel very welcome from the get go. Even getting the pooch some water on arrival. The food was great and generous portions. I would definitely recommend you visit for a meal, if you are in the area. Thankyou team for a great lunch.

We visited the globe Inn on our stay at Park Dean resort. The staff are lovely and made us feel very welcome. The drinks are reasonably priced. We ordered the sirloin steak with sides of peppercorn and onion rings. The food came out timely and was delicious. The staff checked everything was ok and they couldn't do enough for us. Would definitely recommend a visit here.

We had the most delicious carvery here yesterday- tasted like a proper home cooked roast, and loads of it! Julie was our amazing hostess who settled us in and made us feel right at home. Diolch Julie and team- we will def be back the next time we’re your way 💕

As other reviewers have mentioned, this is a locals pub. As guests though, we were made to feel welcome by both the regular customers and staff alike. However, there wasn’t any other guests in the pub at all. We didn’t eat here as the restaurant appeared empty. All in all, a nice pub.

Been here twice while staying at trecco Bay both times the food was delicious 😋 highly recommended and will be back

Really disappointing!! Ordered 3 meals and 2came but the owner left us waiting almost an hour for the 3rd l, with no explanation. When asked what's going on she didn't apologise and blamed the chef for getting the order wrong.Then left us waiting with no real apology. What could have been a lovely evening out was ruined and there absolutely no F@#k's given. Shoddy!

Gorgeous food, in porthcawl on holiday and came here twice as was recommended gluten free. Couldn't fault it. Excellent service from Julie and Becky. Thank you ladies, you made our meal that extra bit special xxx
