Mansels Chippy in Bridgend

Ordered Gluten free fish and chips and gluten free sausages and chips. They were very accomodating and helpful as we also required our food to be dairy and egg free due to allergies. We all enjoyed the food very much. The fish in particular was lovely. Would definitely recommend!

Great gluten free fish and chipsWill be back for more.Service was great , had to wait about five minutes for the fish to cook but was offered free cup of tea or coffee while we wait.Its take away but seats and tables outside for you to use.

Lovely staff, reasonable prices. Chips could have been cooked a bit longer but that's down to my own preference. Overall nice chips and gravy, all pipping hot :)

Superb gluten free fish and chips, served within minutes even though they were super busy last night.Other premises take note. If Mansells can do so should you be able to offer gluten free.

Great chip shop. Fish superb but chip portions too big.😂. Friendly and a decent choice. Even offered a cup of tea or coffee whilst the fresh fish was cooking.

Always good, reasonably priced food from here. I have the gluten free fish (not available everywhere). It's cooked to order and is delicious. Chips are good and so is the curry sauce. Very good sized portions - make sure you're hungry.

Search for gluten free fish and chips in Porthcawl and Mansel's came up in the search, my wife had gluten free battered sausage and chips and enjoyed her meal saying it was very good. Lady who served me apologised for not being able to close our containers but it was only because the portions are very generous.

We had 2 fish & chips with tea or coffee on a Wednesday special £11 for the 2. Fantastic value and the best fish & chips we've had for years. Also friendly staff. (Usual price for fish & chips £7.20) When we come on holiday this is the only chippy we use in Porthcawl. Highly recommend.

Best fish and chips I have had in years. Fish was freshly cooked, free coffee while I was waiting. All 3 of the ladies working were lovely and friendly.
