Ogmore Vale Bar & Indian Restaurant in Bridgend

Nice place love it they have nice Indian food after India I had in this restaurant.

Went there for a meal and had to walk out. Not what I expected. Had 5* reviews on TripAdvisor so thought it would be alright. NO! It's basically a sports bar that sells Indian food. Full of drunk loud young lads. We ordered poppadoms which arrived cold, dripping in oil and stale with no plates to eat off. My wife went outside to the smoking area which was by the kitchen and said the kitchen looked disgusting and she didn't feel comfortable eating here, paid for our drinks and poppadoms and left. The only waitress/ barmaid was lovely but rushed off her feet with customers in the Bar. We certainly won't be going back.

Food looks and tastes delicious, with good sized portions (we took home a doggy bag) plenty of options on the menu, including vegetarian.Staff are very friendly and attentive.Nothing was too much trouble!The only downside was the bar side got a little noisey.

Stunning food totally enjoyed every meal I've had from there.My only reduced rating is due to the sport bar side of it where it's very noisy when your having your meal.

Converted pub serving Indian food. Food was good and service was efficent.We watched the 6 nations here, which had a great atmosphere and free half time snacks

My family and I used the restaurant for the first time tonight. We found the custom was very warm and friendly and always made sure we had everything we needed. The food was really enjoyable and presented well. The price was reasonable. We would recommend this restaurant.Will be returning to the restaurant.

We have just finished our dinners this evening and both myself and my Mrs have had a brilliant time, the service has been excellent as well as the food quality and have absolutely no complaints with the prices.Fantastic restaurant that I would thoroughly recommend.It's great to see a restaurant like this up the Ogmore valley.

Awesome food, chef's know their trade. Open plan kitchen, good selection of food and also nice selection of top class spirits and beers.Best of all it's not going to break the bank, very reasonable prices, will be making a weekly visit from now on.
