Olive Tree, Pyle Garden Centre in Bridgend

The house plants and succulents are well priced and amazing quality. It follows a one way system all the way around so you don’t miss anything! Tucked away near the end is a crystal shop with everything you could want/need from a crystal shop. It is now one of my favourites and would definitely make the trip to visit there again. Some amazing pieces on offer and the staff were friendly!

Unassuming from the outside, hinting little at the cavernous and beautifully decorated inside. Many establishments have struggled for staffing since covid, resulting in some alarming declines in standards, but this is not something found here. The serving staff are amongst the best you will find, enthusiastic, friendly, professional and hard working. The back-room staff have clearly influenced the menu, with fresh, seasonal dishes supplemented by a salivating array of cakes & sweet treats which would make even Mary Berry's heart skip a beat.The food itself combines pleasing aesthetics with excellent taste profiles, combining flavours well to bring out the best of the fresh ingredients.A welcome beacon of quality amongst a sea of mediocrity in this post-covid world.

Excellent breakfast in the Olive Tree restaurant. Great taste, good value, and lovely spacious surroundings.The Garden centre has so much to view with the usual tools, plants and garden supplies all nicely presented with helpful staff.Loved the unusual items on sale and there's even clothing shops here too.You could easily spend some time browsing.

This is the place to go for all your gardening needs. Healthy plants and trees that grow robustly at home! All sorts of accessories, tools, seeds, bulbs, I mean they have EVERYTHING and displayed beautifully.

My husband took me to this little gem for the first time this afternoon.We had a lovely lunch at a very reasonable price and I couldn't finish it due to the generous portion size.What a wonderful relaxing place to spend and hour!

The girl who cleared our table used her cloth to brush someone else's food onto my wife's dress. Not only did she not apologise, she didn't even notice!! Then, when we asked for a menu, she told us to go and get them ourselves up by the tills. By this point, the quality of the food didn't matter, it was just a generally bad experience really.

Lovely place where you can but items you can't find anywhere else. Our favourite is Dawn's healing light!, beautifully calming,fantastic range of holistic items. Me and my 12 year old daughter LOVED this shop and cannot wait to visit again. Staff are out of this world, well done Dawn! We truly love it💓

Don't get me wrong, I love this place, but yesterday's lunch was disappointing. My partner ordered the minute steak which had a skimpy amount of rather tough, flavourless shoe leather. Way overpriced at £9.95. I had the American pancakes which were two small pancakes suspiciously much the same as the Asda brand. They had obviously been microwaved as the edges were tough and rubbery. Again, overpriced at £4.99. No one ever came to inquire about our food, so we ate what we could and left. We've been to several of the Friday night shows and the food has always been good, so we were surprised and disappointed that lunch was not quite up to par. You can do better, Olive Tree.

Such a dissapointing lunch visit today. We both ordered the steak pie from the Specials board, £8.99 each. Our expectation was that it would be a home made pie. The reality was a steak and ale pie, such as Pukka that can be bought in a supermarket for a £1. So dissapointing, on previous visits we have always loved our meal and felt they were good value. Didn't have the opportunity to give the staff feedback as nobody came to our table.

Top notch, absolutely beautiful. The indoor and outdoor spaces were fantastic to maneuver trollies & all staff welcoming returning customers as we are. Very well done all Xx❤️🌻🌻🌼🌱🌳
