railway in Bridgend

Great experience, first night out to experience Bridgend the weekend just l gone, popped into The Railway for 2/3 hours along the way, had a tribute Meat Lwaf playing, amazing atmosphere with great music. I'll be back 👍

Great atmosphere on a Saturday night. Reasonable prices. Only downside is the stairs to the toilets.

Nice local pub with inexpensive beer.

Very friendly staff. Had a cooked breakfast here, £3 for 1 of each item, 30p per extra, price is the cheapest I found in Bridgend so far. All food was freshly cooked perfectly.

Decent (cheap but cheerful) food, good screens for the rugby and bar service. Great.

I’ve been coming here for many years and the way the staff have adapted and become a great team through this pandemic is very good. I said to the young barmaid that I feel very safe here unlike other places in town right now. this pub also acts as a safe place for people. the manager (as young as she may seem) has everything under control. Her behaviour towards customers is refreshing. as for the door staff they have taken everything in their stride and nothing is ever too much to ask from them. there was only a collective 5 members of staff on Saturday yet they worked in unison. between running the bar and door team, the manager thoroughly cares about the customers and it’s clear that is the number 1 priority. Well done all 👍🏼
