Had lunch here today and it was absolutely amazing. The customer service was excellent and the food was awesome, very well presented and fresh. Massive shout out to Vicky who was our hostess today and she was brilliant as nothing was too much trouble even though she was really busy. Will definitely be going back here on a regular basis. They custome to your dietary needs with ease. Thank you all your doing an awesome job 👏

On first visit we recieved food plates 🍽 with expired food label attached to plate. 🏷 and supervisor apologised and changed the food, on second visit recieved drink in dirty glass with lipstick 💄 marks and we asked to be changed, today 13,March we was surveing food and customer service on site and been ignored in arrival at booking desk at front of the door despite been seen with staff and supervisor. So informed staff behind the bar regarding purpose of visit and asked for supervisor which was ignored . This place over all mark dropped again from 8 to 6 and now to 3 star. 🌟

Service was second to none - speedy, friendly & polite. Pub was kept clean & presentable but slightly let down by food. £20 Sirloin steak requested medium rare came out almost well done. I did ask the waitress to let the cook know, couldn't wait for a replacement as the meals had already taken too long to come out.

My gammon steak (5oz as part of the mixed grill) was lovely and tender. My father's (10oz platter) was tough and chewy. waitress and other staff very pleasant but waitress didn't know which bitters were available - not sure if she knew what a bitter is. Good value. Our little dog was made very welcome - thank you.

We were seated by a lovely lady in a white shirt with blonde hair, staff were very friendly and food was very quick and hot. Drinks took a while to come and we were given them free of charge for the wait. All in all was a fab experience and would come again!

Friendly staff, good, hot food served pretty quickly. Only gripe is staff standing, talking behind the bar while we wait for drinks. That said, we do visit this pub very often and would like the steak night to return.

The pub was clean, there was a nice friendly atmosphere. The staff were efficient , polite and friendly. There is plenty of choice on the menu. They also have special meals on the board. I enjoyed my meal and will definitely be back for more.

I arrived and was shown to dirty table to sit and I mean dirty.. Wet and sticky where it had been cleared but not cleaned let alone sanitised! When I asked what red wine was available I was told Hardy's lol..clueless. I then saw the menu 2for1 and commented that wasn't fair as I was dining alone I was offered free £4.95 dessert... I still lose out as the meal was £18.80 for the roast beef I was then given the dregs of the Malbec as there was none left...for free (how kind)... it was rancid I left it.... My meal took 30 mins to arrive due to confusion regarding my order. I ordered roast beef I asked where the Yorkshire pudding was and was told oh there's none left! The meal was disgusting stale dry, cold roast potatoes, the beef was like cardboard the vegetables overcooked and slimy. I complained to the manager and left she waived the charge... I've had lovely meals there before but this was a diabolical experience as soon as I walked through the door. Terrible customer service and atrocious food. Jan Woolweaver

My brother and I are truck drivers and stopped by for the night for food and a few drinks. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the staff were very friendly. I believe the drink prices to be quite expensive, however the 2for1 on main meals for the food is actually quite reasonable. Despite this it's a nice place to go out and socialise with people therefore I will return.
