The Corner House in Bridgend

10 of us went for 70th birthday. They were very unwelcoming from the time we arrived. There was another party of 10 that arrived after us and they were put on a table all together which is what it should be for a family party. But we were put on 2 seperate tables one of 6 and one of 4 theses table were kept apart by a corridor space so they could pass us all night to get to the kitchen. So we were not able to speak to anyone. Yet there was another long table that we could have been all together. My husbands 70th was nearly ruined by all this but was saved by all our family being there together making it a night for him to remember. Don’t go there if you have a family celebration that you want to remember for the right reasons.

Paid for deposits for 18 family members for my husbands 60th birthday, on the day before 3 of us tested positive for Covid. When I rung the Corner House to let them know we couldn’t make it there was no problem at all for having the deposits back. Just wish other local companies were just as understanding.

Lovely food and just the right amount served. Pudding finished off a great evening. Staff and surroundings very welcoming.

The food is first class and plenty of it a very good friendly atmosphere. I would recommend this establishment to one and all it's well worth a visit.

Excellent meal we had a mix of the menu from steaks,fish and Curry's and everyone enjoyed will definitely recommend

Absolutely beautiful meal tonight. We all had steaks, which were cooked to our liking Honestly was the best sirloin steak I have had in a very long time.The service was very efficient and all staff were friendly and courteous. Deserts were also delicious and reasonably priced. Highly recommend The Corner House for it's friendly atmosphere and exceptional food.

Went to the corner house inn for my Nanna birthday last week, we all really enjoyed I ordered steak and ale pie which I recommend, but portions were so big I couldn't eat it all. I 100% will go back.

(October 2019) Lovely food with a large selection to choose from. With friendly and professional staff.As a party of five, we were taken to a more private area (a table seated for about seven), and that privacy was wonderful.I hope to return there in the near future..... And we did! In January 2020. It was jam packed with customers, it is certainly a very popular place due to the excellent quality of food, reasonable prices, atmosphere, and custom.

Fab Service & delicious Food as always. Would highly recommend. 👌 😋 Rebooked for Monday while we were there! Thank you guys you never disappoint xx
