The Jolly Sailor in Bridgend

Called here while we were staying in Porthcawl oldest pub in Porthcawl. Great selection of beers. Goodmenu, we went for the Cod and chips beautiful crispy batter and homemade chips. My only criticism is prices were quite high for a lunchtime pub meal.

We live in Nottage but called in while walking to the beach. We hadn’t booked for Sunday lunch but they fitted us in on an outside table. Great veggie option of nut roast and the veg was plentiful on the side. Very tasty food and the staff were friendly. We will most definitely be back!

The bar staff were very friendly and helpful, also the regulars who drink in the pub were also very friendly and they made me feel very welcome, i would recommend everyone who feels like a good pint or a glass of wine to pop in and enjoy the friendly atmosphere, the interior was very tidy and clean, ten out of ten 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍 👍

Wow! Was super impressed. We had a roast and it was absolutely delicious!! Everything was perfectly cooked and so tasty. Highly recommend!!

Great authentic pub! Food is delicious & fairly priced for the quality.Friendly staff, clean toilets & interior.Has an extensive GF range of options, I didn't check vegetarian or vegan as I was only looking at the GF. I was impressed!Delicious - looking forward to visiting again.

drinks were surprisingly nice and refreshing, the outdoor garden is also very comfy and calming. The staff were very kind and helpful

Lovely pub great customer service and the food was amazing I had the 8 hour brisket it was amazing i don't think I will ever taste one like it again highly recommend 10 /10

Very nice, great food and service. Nice to have the dog allowed in. As he enjoyed him self to and making friends.
