Friendly staff, nice food and good choice of beer. Handy to pop in for a pint if your in town.

Ordered a cocktail as it was supposed to be 2 for 1 as it said on a board in the ladies toilets... £7.99 I paid which I thought was expensive but as it was supposed to be for 2 cocktails it made sense. Until after I paid and mentioned it to the bar staff now I understood the price .... they said no sorry that's not for today (Tuesday 31st May) had 1 then left... its my birthday today aswell lol... maybe they should put a little note underneath saying only on certain days... or the bar staff mention its only 1 cocktail on certain days before paying for it.

Nice food and good price, glad it back to the Kings head with its breef stint identifying as Irish.

Wonderful little pub. Visited bridgend for the first time yesterday, and my partner and I popped in for a bite to eat.Food perfect and the service even better, lovely lady.Would return to eat again if we were in the area.

a very friendly place to eat and drink,fabulous bar very friendly staff and locals,i recommend the mixed grill generous portions at a very reasonable price ,i traveled alone and was made to feel very welcome,i will definitely return

Busy o a Saturday lunchtime with sport tv, very reasonable food and live music on later.

An average place, nowhere near enough of craft beers and the cask ales were ok.I'd go in for the one, I wouldnt think of having a session there.Each to their own, I guess....

Absolutely have loved our visits here. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Landlord is a gem and the atmosphere is always lively and friendly.

Great food, lovely staff and nice atmosphere. Keith went out of his way to keep my Mrs happy as she can't eat gammon without pineapple (!). He went out to get it for her. Brilliant service. Above and beyond what's expected. Class.
