Lovey customer service, amazing food, definitely my favourite chip shop! Food is cooked perfectly every time we go here, can’t beat a nice bit of grub from Llew’s! Definitely recommend, the best in Bridgend, and excellent value for money.

I admire Llew's stance on Covid but it feels as if things could be manged more smoothly. There was a 15 minute queue outside on Saturday evening: with three members of staff on, one could have easily popped outside, taken orders and passed them on to the two members serving. This would almost certainly have speeded things up. Have to say the regular chips portion is on the small side, though the cod to be fair was huge. Bit of a mixed bag

Always friendly staff, the fish and the chips should be cooked a bit longer as mostly greasy with soft batter, Irish curry great.

Staff are very friendly and polite. Unless you go in and they are frying right then. Which they cook spot-on. Batter on fish is lovely and chip's are just right. But you could end up with food that's been cooked quite a while and been standing around. Pie's are not the best. Think they could do with changing the maker.

Honesty, these are the best chips in bridgend. They have lost a star purely as there are a few times where they. Out of nowhere, have awful chips and give you barely any. I have no idea what the factor is that has changed on these occasions but it tends to be when they have less customers. I don't know what comes first, the bad chips or the quiet day. But it's always unfortunate

Bit hit and miss but last couple of times have had a lovely pieces of cod and plentiful chips. Friendly helpful staff. Prices reasonable for good size portions.
