Bought chips ÂŁ2.65 they had just opened so thinking they would be nice and fresh they were cold and ard so couldn't eat them they went straight in the bin. The old woman there needs more manners speaking to the girls who work there aswel absolutely appalling fish shop.

Awful rude and miserable staff considering they’re job is hardly difficult. All it takes is a smile and basic customer service skills which is not too hard to have. Will not be returning! Chips were okay tho.

OK at best really. Had to wait quite a bit even at a quiet time. Pricy too in comparison with other similar fish and chip shops. Neither fish nor chips were as nice as their competitors. Won't be back sorry.

It's a decent enough chip shop I wish that the woman serving was a little happier.

Absolutely shocking services from the old miserable lady. Shame I was hungry or I would of just walked out before I finished my order and my food went on the bin after all cause I seen the old lady wipe her nose then straight away start moving food around. And don't get me started on the prices cause they are 100 mill out of plumb.

Not very nice at all, chips were hard, and the sausage in batter, the batter was falling off, had to leave it, strange that when I pick the chips up they are really nice, won't go there again

Only reason I give two stars was in your price . They are extortionate to be honest and had I looked before ordering food I would have walked out .I don't care about the excuses for the cost of living . There's absolutely no justification for charging ÂŁ4.80 for a large chips. Won't be having my custom again . Always called here if down the Bridgend area. Not anymore

Ordered last night for the first time in a while. The portion sizes have been significantly reduced - there were so few chips it was comical . The curry sauce was also watered down to the point that it was more like curry soup. Customers in the shop were complaining openly when they were served and were told “that’s what we’ve been told to serve”. Will not purchase here again, bearing in mind I’ve eaten here for more than 30 years.

Could do with cooking the chips, no colour and hard. Fish is brilliant but the chips another story.

Usually the best place to buy chips but not worth the money now as the portions are so small!
