Very accommodating and friendly service - brought water for our dog. Good food at reasonable price. Will go there again.

Been here several times before and would always have given it 5 stars. However we were more than a little disappointed with our latest visit. Can't fault the service, the staff were brilliant, the menu was more than adequate and the prices are reasonable in my opinion. The food was pretty good, although the triple cooked chips tasted more like oven fries, but it was the number of things they did not have that we found frustrating. For example, the wine we asked for was unavailable, the garlic bread had sold out (it was not even 7pm when we ordered) and they only had vegan ice cream left - this did not bother us but their menu did highlight a particular brand. Probably picked a bad night to visit so will try again, just not yet.

Been here a few times the last being Mother’s Day with the family. Food was great unfortunately they forgot to bring out the veg, we were compensated with free deserts

Went for Sunday lunch today which in all fairness was okay but for the price I would have expected better. The beef was okay for my partner but for my it was undercooked and I couldn't enjoy it I also wasn't happy with the veg provided being as we only had 3 small carrots that hadn't been cut or peeled between the both of us. My partner let me have them as it's the only veg I like but I only ate one as they was very hard and dry so I didn't bother asking for any more. The staff however were extremely friendly and was definitely the best part.lf the stay . However we did enjoy the buttermilk chicken starter and our desserts along with the service being fast , effective and very welcoming , maybe it was just an off day but deff wouldn't return for Sunday lunch again.

Pre-booked a table for 10 for 2.30pm. Was kept waiting on arrival for table to be set and once sat advised they only had 3 chicken left & no beef. A restricted menu is fine if fully available - we were left with just lamb. Given this was booked well ahead and for a special occasion, they should have been prepared. Disappointed.

We'd heard good things and were surprised to get in last minute. We had a lovely table downstairs which was great with our 3 dogs.Food was delicious. Bit slow service between starter and main but they had a larger group in.Would return

This restaurant has significantly improved recently. Food is on point and atmosphere is great. Its been a hell of a challenge, but it seems this beautiful establishment has found its feet.3/3 steaks cooked perfectly so far

Disappointed. Heard great things about this place but not impressed. Food good but considerably over priced. Famous garlic loaf was inedible.. the two crust ends like rocks so effectivelywe paid 7 pounds for a slice of bread. Not the atmosphere you would want for a friends or family meal to be able to hold a conversation at a reasonable level partially due to a party of 8 particularly drunk along with a speaker with really loud music directly above our table. Such a shame.

Good food but defo few if any covid restrictions. We were put at a group table rather than a table for two despite one being available. No staff wearing face masks and no contact tracing info taken from each member of the group. Food was good. The starter needed more seasoning but the main course was excellent.

The first family meal out since lockdown and it was a real treat. The food was amazing and I couldn't ask anymore of the staff.
