Lovely fish chips peas meal. Hubby had gammon meal , both fab portions relative had the rice curry and 1 poppadom, very small portion looked dry if its had been microwaved too much!!! Dreadful meal for the price too. Children's meal were very small ideal size for toddlers or 3 to 4 year old.Knives and Forks didn't look the cleanest either.Hopefully better meals next visit. 3* only sorry room for improvement!!

Brewers Fayre is our favourite place to eat, the kids love the soft play and we all love the food 😍 it's so reasonably priced and £4.99 for a 3 course kids meal is perfect, especially for those like me who loves to eat out but doesn't like to pay £10+ a head 🙈

Well we’re to start I can not complain about how clean it was or the staff being pleasant and helpful the service was second to none so don’t take this as an attack on you personally. The food on the other hand was not what I would expect for a £70 meal the stake was tiny on my mixed grill 4oz was before they cooked it and judging by how tough it was it had a hard life previously…the chips on all the plates were Luke warm and my biggest gripe of the day is who gives children half an uncooked pizza? Can it not be cut up and what happened to the nice childrens size portions from previous years? The food at brewers fayre is simply out dated or substandard by todays expectations for the price better off having a mc Donald’s in my opinion as same quality.Anyway moving on I got to relive my childhood as the play area is as old as me and as outdated as the pub itself and for £3.50 you are better off letting them play in the beer garden. Was not what I expected of a Brewers fayre and safe to say that will be my last time going as I thought maybe my children might of enjoyed the pub as much as I did in previous years gone by but the food and play area need a serious overhaul as pub prices for product that is not even as good quality as weatherspoons is simply not good enuf in todays market.

Food was good but the main reason for the 5 stars was the great service my daughter and I received by the lady serving in the kids play area. Unfortunately, I am not able to recall her name but we visited at 1pm on Monday 6th June 2022.

Just fancied a evening out and decided to visit this place as haven't been in awhile. Was greeted by friendly staff and taken to our table. Easy to order our food and it came quite speedily. Food was great. Myself and my family had a nice time. My only gripe was the loud and obnoxious group of lads and lasses in the background.

I would never eat here again!! Absolutely disgusting food, literally thrown on the plate. Very poorly cooked, very greasy, fatty and of poor quality. No staff member checked how our food was and no one around to complain to either. Tables sticky, dirty and unclean. Have emailed Brewers Fayre direct and complete the satisfaction questionnaire however complaint not resolved, and apparently closed as they are not interested in resolving negative feedback. Extremely poor customer service, with rude and ignorant responses!! Will not ever be eating here again!

Food took 1hr 40 mins and they had to be reminded twice. Childrens meal no one informed us that all 3 courses had to be ordered at once so even though it was paid for in full no dessert served unless we paid again for it. Toilets not all working.

Love this place been going for many many years. Our favourite is the breakfast best in Caerphilly and such a good price if you have young children also eating breakfast.

·

Totally over priced for very basic food 3.99 for 2 slices of garlic cheese bread had gammon and egg how hard is it to cook an egg gammon was so salty and over cooked needed a pint to wash it down tottall waste of money also food was luke warm at best never again .

Food is well priced, and it's clean inside, tables need redoing but sticky, but that's just old varnish, the staff are amazing and so helpful, I would visit here again, and would even drive out of my way to stay if I was in the area again
