I wasn't sure what it was going to be like, especially as the ground floor entrance is not particularly inspiring.....but WOW, after that what a truly marvellous experience, I couldn't fault anything....went for lunch with my partner, booked a window seat overlooking the castle, we were looked after by super attentive staff, served with absolutely lovely food, and all at very reasonable prices....Will be going again without doubt.

Superb food quality πŸ’—I really loved the service and the setting with a beautiful view of the castle in the evening. When visiting, don't forget to check/ask about the daily specials ranging from 2 cocktails for at a bargain price, to stake nights and more. It's a clean establishment with disable friendly facilities all throughout and a parking (free for now) across the street.Worth checking outWill be back

I visited Casa Mia with my partner on Monday evening for an intimate dinner and we had a wonderful evening with an absolutely amazing experience! The team that works here is friendly, professional and dedicated. Their attention to detail in customer service is spot on, the food and drink recommendation great; everything perfectly matched our taste. The food itself is another story! Here I would like to say "compliments to the chef"! The seafood dishes are fresh, delicious, and beautifully served. The desserts are out of this world! (Sorry, no pictures of mains, it was just too good 😁🀭)Worth noticing is that this restaurant has the best views in Caerphilly, disabled-friendly entrance, and is very well-managed. Definitely my go-to! ❀️

By far the most impressive aspect of Cas Mia is the view from the large windows facing the castle, however the best is are the tables by the window the further back into the restaurant you go the less you can experience from your table. As for the food while enjoyable and presented well is let down by the cost, as I personally felt for the quality I'm paying more for the view than the food, which again is fine if you get a table set but some may feel differently if they are unable to get one. I would recommend coming here for special occasions, or when its quiet if you don't want to book so you can increase your chances of getting that window table.

We celebrated our first wedding anniversary here!! It's was an amazing experience with an amazing castle view and the staff made it more special... The staff served us in house Prosecco as a celebration toast for our special day which melted my heart....

Had lunch here when visiting the castle. Glad we spotted it (it's on the first floor by the Tommy Cooper statue). Great tapas and some good Welsh menu options. Brilliant service. Definitely worth a visit.

Cod loin and garlic mushrooms, it was incredible probably one of the most perfectly cooked pieces of fish I’ve had, lovely view from the restaurant they were technically fully booked when I walked in but I was alone on a business trip And they found room for me. Nice place.Only thingI’d of put no salad with the mushrooms, more muhrooms and the ciabatta next to the mushrooms not under them it turned the bread soggy.
