Green Lady Pub and Restaurant in Caerphilly

Attended The Green Lady last night, it did not disappoint as usual. We were greeted with a smile and attention as soon as we walked through the door. The team were absolutely fantastic from the start to end. Nothing was too much trouble and they coped extremely well with our big party. The food was out of this world, everyone commented how great it was not one person was disappointed. We had the pleasure of having a good chat with the manager 'Adam' who was absolutely fantastic! He explained to us that had taken over the management of the pub not so long ago, we knew that the pub had previously had a poor name for itself in the area and we now know exactly why it has become so popular since he has been brought in. Would definitely recommend it all, fantastic atmosphere, friendly staff and management and delicious food. What more could you want.

Always looked after very well by Adam and his great team and Saturday was no exception. Everyone is very attentive and friendly, just what you want from a pub. Changing tables after ordering food was no trouble for them either, we simply told Simon where we were moving to and he brought the food to us himself.

Had a lovely meal here with family yesterday. The new menu is delicious and soooo much better than the one during lockdown. The team were rushing everywhere but nothing was too much bother for them, even had a laugh with Simon the barman who I haven't seen for ages. He's such an asset to their team. If you want a meal, a drink and a great atmosphere this is the place for you.

My favourite local pub. Very good value for money for lunch deals. Love all the staff there, always get service with a smile. Jelena was very welcoming and friendly on our last visit. Food is always nice!!

Had a lovely meal here last week and forgot to write until now. The service from Maomi was as lovely as ever; fast, friendly and nothing was too much to ask. Simon behind the bar was lovely, and it was great to get help on what we could eat from a fellow vegan. Can't wait to see what is coming on the new menu when we are there next, it sounds delicious! Even better to be able to see Wales win their football match on a big screen with the sound up and a fantastic atmosphere in the pub. Well done to the pub team, we had a great night!

Loved that we were greeted with a smile. Our whole experience from the moment we walked through the door until the moment we left was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble, staff were friendly and really polite. Food was delicious, you could see care was taken into plating up and the portion size was good too. Would recommend for any any occasion.

Called in for quick working lunch yesterday - service from Simon was spot on. Didn’t have to wait very long even though they were very busy. Lunch club menu is great value for money and portion size is just enough when you’re looking for a quick ‘lunch break’ lunch! Lovely atmosphere - warm and welcoming 5*

We attended the Green Lady for a family meal and after not attending for years because of bad food and service we decided to bite the bullet and try it again as heard that it had recently been taken over. I can't believe the difference.....the staff were so friendly. There was so much to choose from on the menu and we had vegatarians with us and they definitely recommend the buffalo cauliflower wings and the spinach veggie burger. We'll definitely be back again. Thank you Simon you made our experience 😁

Came for lunch with my partner Seth after we'd been to the gym. We normally go somewhere else but came to the Green Lady for a change, and we are so glad we did! The food is delicious, and although the prices are a little high it is definitely worth it. Lovely to have someone behind the bar that can help with making the meals choices healthy too, thank you Simon (and we miss you in the gym - come back!)
