Islwyn Inn in Caerphilly

Lovely atmosphere and great food, friendly attentive service

The food was top notch. Service was prompt and courteous. Excellent.

Excellent service food was excellent not expensive fair price. Booked in advance as only taking bookings. Worth a visit. Recommend to all.

Celebrated my 80th birthday and 57th anniversary with my wife and family here on the 6th March 2022. Couldn't find fault with anything, absolutely first class service, wonderful food and a great atmosphere.A huge thank you to all concerned.

Excellent Sunday dinners served here everytime, the atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are very polite and helpful. Yesterday was the french themed night and I have to say it was superb. Every course was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. We are looking forward to return for future themed nights. 10/10.

Fabulous food, wonderful friendly staff , I would highly recommend this place. They take the term “Dog Friendly” to the next level. Dog is totally spoilt, nothing is too much trouble. Thank you all a lovely experience, especially with my nervous dog . ❤️

Food was beautiful. Service fantastic and staff friendly and attentive. Highly recommended! A*

Food is amazing. Fast, friendly service, reasonably priced. Needs a sign outside though!! I drove past twice 😏

Amazing food, service, drinks and atmosphere. Can’t fault it. Managed to give us super tasty food even though we didn’t book (recommend booking). Menus rotate so keeps it exciting. Best value for money! Highly RECOMMEND

Great food as always. Couldn't fault it. The burgers were delicious as were the desserts. The Merlin Trifle was a delightful surprise and a big hit. Highly recommend The Islwyn Inn.
