Kings Arms in Caerphilly

Had the best burger and waffle fries ever today! Shane behind the bar recommended it and suggested I try a peppercorn sauce with it, well it was banging and it’s now my new favourite. Thank you Shane for great customer service and a banging lunch

Visited on Saturday, had a great pint of Barry Island. Pub was busy, but served very quickly by friendly staff

staff are amazing all ways happy and smile its such a pleasure to come in this pub the food is really nice and i would highly recommend to anyone

Lovely British pub,serving Basic Pub grub, but unfortunately let down by the choice of Beers,only Doombar available on Saturday, very disappointing, especially as they had 4 other pumps serving nothing, not even anything resting in the cellar, won't be rushing back here again, obviously Ok for Lager persons which seem to be the majority these days,K

Staff were exceptionally attentive and the food was delicious. They have an extensive list of vegetarian and vegan options, which is a huge plus too

Came in on a Saturday evening at 5:15 with a table of six, the rugby was on and unsurprisingly most pubs were full.Luckily the Kings Arms has a table of 6 spare which was perfect for us. The drinks were reasonably priced and the food was brilliant, we had the Korean spicy barbecue chicken nachos and the southern fried chicken strips and they tasted lovely. Would definitely go again, even during busy periods they managed to get us a table 5⭐ from me

Nice in eating area with friendly staff. Food was hot but the beer battered fish was just awful. It started off fine but about half way through it became watery, greasy, and bland. I could not eat it and left with a stick of gum in my mouth desperately trying to erase the memory of it! I could not use the loos as 1 seat was broken, another had the remnants of blood smeared on the seat and another one looked like it had feaces on the outside of the bowl. The last cubicle was a no go as it was so small I would have had to press myself against the loo to get in and there was no way on this earth would I do that after what I saw😨😨😨
