The meal was value for money the staff are polite and the decor is very tastefully done in keeping with the age of the building

When 2 evenings running. Both nights had food. 1st night scampi very good 2nd night gammon mine was good husbands not so. Staff sorted it. All Staff polite friendly and approachable

Really nice food, we had a variety of foods an all! portions of food are HUGE and so was the dessert!! friendly staff, even the chef came out to ensure our meals were all ok.. Prices are very low for the amount of food on a plate!

We are staying in the area and last minute decided to come to the Lord Nelson for tea. So pleased we chose to come. The staff were lovely and very hard working. The food was amazing, with large portions. Highly recommended for food or drink. Brilliant atmosphere. Thank you. If we are back in the area I would definitely visit again.
