Malcolm Uphill in Caerphilly

Food lovely but members of staff very rude towards our children accusing them of ‘running riots’ we would NEVER let our children do that, then refused more alcohol when only the men were drinking all the women where looking after the children sober. They have no right to tell someone how much alcohol they can consume when they wasn’t even supervising our well behaved children. Probably won’t visit again

Quick service, 4people ordered food and drink all quick served and tasteful and filling, good customer service , staff were helpful and kind

Went there for breakfast and the food was amazing, both my mother and I are vegan and wetherspoons had meals for all diets, in the center of town too! Easy access and perfect for meals, definitely recommend 👌

Nice Wetherspoons, clean & tidy , good selection of beers & food was good quality & larger than expected. Only downside no white wine & barstaff a little slow.

Excellent food, there has been a change of certain items on the menu (which the kids were not impressed with) but all round a great experience and staff were very helpful!

Service is absolutely disgusting, stand at the bar for 10 minutes being ignored and watch while staff serve any other person who comes up, absolute joke, and really rude of the “staff” member, who turned their back on me knowing full well I was waiting to order food! Sort it out you’re supposed to be a franchise, how about some education and training on customer service. Shameful.

Nice food very quick service and covid safe

Nice Clean venue, spacious & plenty of guidance & guidelines in place and clearly visible. Friendly and informative staff who knew their products. Good range of food and drink available at really reasonable prices. 1 or 2 idiotic boys on there but staff dealt with them quickly , nice vibe and relaxed atmosphere.

Sprawling in the way all Wetherspoons are, this outlet offers predictably affordable dining options with a similarly unsurprising lack of customer service. The bar staff seem to be doing their best to keep up with the clientele, but from my experience their tone can be interpreted as rude and disinterested. Caerphilly admittedly has few restaurant options, but you can certainly do better than this.
