Excellent service and rooms. Location is very good, being set back from Blackwood Town.

Very first time there and it was very good2-6-22

Had a lovely meal, the only thing to complain about was the cabbage was hard. The chef cutting the meat,was so miserable,he never smiled once and there was no talking in him. The girls were lovely,and polite.

We were surprised and delighted by this place it was our overnight stop on the way to Snowdonia it was priced very budget but there is nothing budget about the rooms , spotless a most comfortable bed large well fitted bathroom with immediate hot water the staff were brilliant and the food very good I had a 16oz gammon steak the others had a lovely curry I recommend anyone to try it .The bar was very busy but friendly.

Beautful place and lovely staff. Held my father in laws small wake here and the staff went above and beyond to go out the way to help us at such short notice and sensitive time. Gemma and her staff are a credit to this place. Thank you xxx

Good pub. Always good service and plenty of staff on hand. Owner sorted us out 2 outside booths with heaters. Much appreciated

Room was clean and newly refurbished but the noise was dreadful until 2.30 am. The room sounded like it was over the pool table where you could hear everything even the balls being racked. Would not recommend this.

Brilliant good food and beer.
