My Cod Fish Bar in Caerphilly

I have always ordered from yourselves and always been happy and enjoyed my food. The fact that the order was placed and money was taken from my account and then cancelled is one thing. To take my money and then have a text to say I will have my refund in 3 to 5 days is ridiculous. After this today I will be giving my money elsewhere. A pity.

25 minutes late. Food not even hot. Fish still had bones in it, the batter was chewy - chips okay but not worth the money, I was really disappointed.

Have ordered maybe 5 or 6 times over the last few months, continuously giving them another chance, but there is always something wrong or something missing. They will quite literally make prices up as they go along, too. We order the same things each time and have been charged something different every time!

Loved the food when I went instore, but had it delivered to Abertridwr and it was a bit naff.Curry & chips is perfect but I recommend collecting it. Not sure if there were several stops on the way to me, but it wasn't great by the time it arrived to my house. They also forgot some of the stuff I asked for & when I asked for a refund they said I'd have to call back the following day. 🙄5 star food2 star service

Shocking. Didn’t ask if I wanted Salt & Vinegar, just assumed I wanted both. Then questioned it, asked for a new batch and just gave me the same cod bites. Absolutely ridiculous, as far as allergens go… Appalling. Won’t be returning.

Lovely lockdown birthday treat, fish was delicious large portions not greasy at all, the chips again large portions not greasy.My son had the chicken burger which he really enjoyed. I had a chicken portion it was cooked perfect not dry very tasty.The service was good nice friendly staff. Would definitely recommend and I would use again

The food is fairly standard for a fish shop. I ordered ahead on JustEat and waiting 25 minutes for my small order to be completed. When I went over I found that my food wasn't even started so I had to wait an additional 10 minutes for my food to be cooked. If your in a rush avoid at all costs, but if you fancy a classic chippy and don't mind the wait this is the place for you.

Its takén nearly 4hrs for delivery. Im sure the foods nice but atm i wouldnt know. Getting fobbed off all the time. If u got deliveries issues Just b Honest and ill go else where 4 food. Go to the shop and order dont opt for delivery thats all i can say.

Beautiful fish bites and chips. We also ordered two rissoles. One was absolutely delicious. The other was totally overcooked and disgusting. I couldn't even cut it properly. It looked as if it had been there for a day or so..UPDATE the lovely owner gave us a free rissole when we went for our weekly treat yesterday. Thank you x
