Red Kite in Caerphilly

I was impressed by the service as we were a big party of 12 and our meals all came out together. Steaks were as asked for and the others enjoyed their food two. There was no awkwardness about my mam having 2 starters and we had a thoroughly nice evening. Thank you. The waiting staff were polite and helpful the lone chef did an amazing job - good solo effort chef !

Nice pub.We had a Sunday roast each. Buy one get one free!I'm not normally one to complain! But there was hardly any gravy and they didn't bring our drinks until we reminded them twice!The rest of menu might be a better option. Won't be having a Sunday roast there again. But might try something different on the menu! Nice clean pub! No real area for smokers! Even tho they have an outdoor seating area!

The service we had was excellent. From arriving at the front door we were greeted by the manager and shown to a table. Our waitress, Abbie, was amazing. She is on the ball big time! Pleasant friendly and super efficient. She was taking our order for drinks and food within minutes of being seated and came to check all was good once food had arrived. At the end she sorted the bill really quickly. What an asset she is. I must also comment that the food was brilliant. Really well cooked and good quality and value for money and ready very quickly despite being busy so compliments to the kitchen staff. My partner and I will be back repeatedly!!

Visited here yesterday for the first time and it certainly won't be the last! We booked a table for 3pm but had arrived an hour earlier, despite this we were found a table and seated straight away by a very lovely waitress. The pub is beautifully decorated and seemed very clean. The menu had a nice selection of items, and I was pleased by the different vegetarian options as they can be hit-or-miss at pubs. Our drinks, starter, mains, and desserts all arrived very fast and were all delicious. The waiters and waitresses were all very friendly and professional, they checked in on us often and we were never left waiting. We look forward to returning soon!

Greeter was very friendlyWe had 3 different servers who were all lovely, chatty, polite and helpful.The chef hadn’t turned up for his shift so they explained there might be a slight delay, which was no trouble to us.We had a steak and a mixed grill which was all gorgeous.We’re returning customers so we wouldn’t keep returning if the service was poor.We’ve been customers since the pub was first opened and is our ‘go to’ restaurant. We’ve never ever had a bad meal

I came yesterday with my partner and little ones. First time, but won't be the last. Staff were lovely and really accommodating. The kids meals for a £1 is an absolute bargain!! I wasn't sure what to expect for a pound but it was a really good meal and my 2 loved it. Our food was delicious and arrived quickly and I will definitely be going there again soon. A full 5 out of 5!

Visited the Red Kite for food, right from the moment we walked in the service was great, really friendly manager greeted us and showed us to our table, we were served by Mollie and she was great, nothing was too much trouble, the food came quickly and was superb. We were pretty full after our meal but Mollie convinced us to try the red velvet cheesecake and it was stunning. All round a brilliant visit. Will definitely be back.

We called in Wednesday lunchtime. Plenty of room, friendly efficient staff. Acceptable waiting time for the food to arrive. I have to say the food was the best we've had there. The fish and chips were beautifully cooked. Highly recommended.

I visited here on a Tuesday evening and was pretty quiet. The staff were all very pleasant and friendly.We hadn't intended to eat but decided to. The food was prepared very quickly and was of a good standard.The appearance of the pub was very clean and tidy. Would happily Visit again

Food took a while to arrive but was lovely when it came out staff all very friendly. Great place to go would 100% recommend.
